Player vs Player 8
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Sebybbq</b></div><div>You still make no sense even with a carrer year giordano still average last six season around 50 point (average) it based on point total divised by games played. He is still a top defenseman and have show no sign of regression. Subban as down year and still
Managed a 0.50 point per game rate and letangs as have is share of injuries but still is very efficient when he is on ice. So once again i fallow your logic you based your observation on last season that would meen that miro was better then karlsson since karlsson add two down year back to back ??</div></div>
Yes but that’s why I said I expect Karlsson to bounce back cause I think he can and he’s still quite good on down years. Not in his last few playoff games but overall he logs a ton of minutes.
If it’s like November and Karlsson is showing signs of issues than instantly (similar to Burns) I’m gonna Ben worried. Except Karlsson is a real superstar and I think he’s under a proper system now, he doesn’t have to carry the whole team like he does with Ottawa and there was times in San Jose you watch him and you see he’s trying to play like he’s still on Ottawa right? Maybe you noticed that too maybe you didn’t I can’t blame you. But I think he’s starting to understand he doesn’t have to be the team on San Jose because he has one all around him. In Ottawa he had to be the THE IT guy every night; and watching him throughout the year he would try to be sometimes and it wouldn’t work because San Jose isn’t Ottawa.
Kinda like Shea Weber to make it related to your team. I think I’d change my option and chose Weber over Miro after relooking because I committed quite fast. Weber really impacts Montreal. I’d keep my choice over Subban and maybe change over letang. And Reilly although amazing and I hold him really Highly, I think Miro can achieve what rielly has much faster.

And it will good seeing a bunch of Canadians called in the top-5. I like Lafreniere a lot. I just think he needs to get a bit bigger to handle bigger more mature defenders, which don't really exist in the Q.</div></div>
USAU18 program or whatever it’s called where Hughes and basically the whole ****ing last draft is from; is a great program I mean **** USA cause theyre Canada’s rivals but joking aside they’re crushing it. Whatever they’re doing every program can learn from because that last draft was a real bright spot for USA Hockey

There are a bunch of high-flying kids on the Swedish team, Holtz and Raymond. They look like sure-bet NHLers.</div></div>
I know everyone say Lafreniere but I heard from a few OHL guys that have seen him in the Q or played himI know through friends etc that Alexis is absolutely incredible. Like they’ve seen A lot of team Canada’s juniors from the Q or O etc and all say this kid is unreal for his youth. Could just be my Canadian biased but I think if he continues whoever gets first is gonna have a hell of a pick and same with 2nd-5th maybe even later too this draft is gonna he fun.

Tkachuk or Mikko
Unlikely guy to sign first tho: Point.
Although far apart supposedly I think Tampa can get it done. If point falls I see mikko/Tkachuk soon after.
I don’t see marner being first in any world anymore, I only expected him to be first if it was still the summer now GMs gotta feel the heat for the season

Oh yeah 100% we gotta wait preseason will be a better inside look. But kakkos size is nice but he plays like he isn’t “big” he’s got that little finesse. He reminds of Meier a guy who’s got a big frame and game but plays with little finesse and moves that kinda make you think he can’t play hard but man Meier can. And man I hope Kakko can do the same. I think Europe is putting out a lot of great talent, Finland is looking scary for upcoming World Cup/ olympics

Having watched some of the rookie tournament games, I can tell you Kaapo Kakko is a beast, and he should be at the top of everyone's list. The kid had an unbelievable tournament. Add Cody Glass to the list as well. He should be a top-5 consideration.
Also, don't count out the Canes rookies. I think Martin Necas and Jake Bean are going to have big years.</div></div>
Top to bottom but as said order doesn’t fully matter, like Kakko I think is amazing. Although every says Hughes has a higher ceiling I’ve always liked Kakko and hold him “above” Hughes; if you know what I mean. I really like Kakko. Necas is a great choice and I did forget glass but I put him in for the more “hyped” Poehling from all of Quebec. I think Comtois or Steel can impress as well

That’s world sadly. I’m a supporter of defensive defence man, I’ve watched Vlasic for years and heard years and hundreds of people give Vlasic flak, especially when he makes team canada because it’s “oh whos that guy oh 20 PTS yikes Subban has 60” or whatever, Norris voting is hugely about points now and it “shouldnt” be, Burns won and I’m so happy he won a Norris but he really didn’t “deserve” it as Karlsson and Doughty were also great that year and you can say both were very good defensively

It’s not hard to say...he hits 90 points once Tavares arrives, not before. It’s not like in the season prior where he hit 64 or whatever you thought “yeah this kids hitting 100 next season”. No one thought that. Once Tavares arrives he hits 90+. Thats not a coincidence. Tavares is the guy who deserves 11, not Mitch

With that being said theres no way hes better than any of these guys yet. Every one of these have been elite dmen for the past 5+ years and one good year from a rookie cant give you an edge over these guys. Especially how you literally said Miro is better than the norris winner of last year, thats just idiotic</div></div>
Guy with career year whos aging and likely can’t replicate the year cause he’s like 36 < guy who’s 20 who can easily put up 60 PTS next season and still play quality hockey defensively

I just see so much potential in Kase I would hate to move him in what would effectivley be a win now move when IMO the team isn't built to win now</div></div>
Oh yeah I think this trade is terrible, even if Kase needs a year to fully heal after playing like 20 games and they shut him down for precautionary and than he can play 82 next year Anaheim gets a really good pick in a stacked draft lol. It’s a win win. They keep him they get all the decisions, they trade him they could trade and easy 60+ point guy that Anaheim needs, and needs more then Faulk
