Also for OP - Are you expecting to win the lottery and pick Catton at 2? He's not falling to New Jersey at 10 or 11</div></div>
Theodore is playing less and less with Hanifin brought in, got bumped from first power play unit, only has one year left on his deal and could fetch a decent return. With the addition of Hertl, if they want to keep one of Marchessault or Stephenson someone has to go. Wouldn't shock me if it's Theodore.

A no from Vegas, but not because the trade value is off. Bahl is only 1.2 million cheaper than Hague, so it doesn't save Vegas much money. If Vegas needs to cut money it'll come from someone on D (maybe even Hague) for picks/prospects that won't add to the salary cap for next year. My guess is Theodore for picks (a first and change).

VGK probably end up moving a defenseman. They have a lot of quality Dmen, so one of Theodore, Mcnabb, Hague or Whitecloud would be my thought. Theodore makes the most and would be my guess at who they look to move because he only has 1 year left on his deal.

I think martinez could fetch a second. Regardless of cap issues and being desperate there’d be a competitive market for him.
Dadonov isn’t a complete dump, I could see him getting a fourth, possibly a third</div></div>
I hope this is the case. We'll just have to wait and see. Should all be settled in the next 2 weeks.

I know Theodore is worth way more. I just think if Vegas has the choice to either give up Dadonov and a second for nothing in return, Martinez and a second for nothing, or Theodore for a player and a pick, they may end up choosing to get rid of Theodore. If cap wasn't an issue it would take a tremendous price to get Theodore.

I think Hague went to the minors in this and the idea would be to bring him up once the playoffs start just to be cap compliant. Since he's waiver exempt it would be easy to send him down without the risk of losing anyone else. He's definitely better than Coghlan, but Coghlan has to go through waivers.

Going to be tough to turn on the jets when their top 4 forwards are out for at least another month.

Should be a big IF playoffs. I'm a Vegas fan, and right now it's going to be tough to make the playoffs. Looks like Calgary and Edmonton are going to get in for sure. The 3rd spot is going to be a battle between Vegas, San Jose, Vancouver, and Seattle.

They can be a next year team as long as their pick is top 10. If they aren't bad enough, they have to try to compete for the playoffs.

Yep, for Vegas it's either finish dead last in the league or make the playoffs. Any pick between 11 and 16 and this season would be a complete failure.

Stone skated last week. But for the trade for Eichel to go through cap-wise Stone had to be on LTIR meaning he'll be out probably another 5 weeks. Karlsson is out another 5-6 weeks and Pacioretty another 4-6 weeks.

A couple of games ago they paired Theodore with Martinez. It was the first time they had done that in a long time, because Martinez was playing with Pietrangelo. Theodore played best when paired with Martinez, so reading between the lines it seems like they wanted Theodore to have a showcase game to make him worth more in an Eichel deal.

I don't think he is, but a lot of people on this site think he has negative value. If Reaves can get a 3rd, it's tough to see anyone having negative value with a contract below 2 million.

I understand Larkin is a very good player, but Detroit really isn't going to be competitive for 3-5 more years. Sure Larkin will still be in his prime, but it may be worth the gamble at 2 first round centers and another first round pick, plus they won't have to pay Larkin's next contract so they can go out and get a few more players.

Honestly no idea which side is getting the better deal and which isn't. When you have too many star players in a deal the values are really tough to judge. Maybe remove Krebs from the Vegas side and replace with a 2nd or something like that would be better.

Fair enough. I think it would only be 2.8 million but your point is still valid. Probably change the 6th to a 4th or something like that.

Go check their trade history, it just does not happen. They haven't made a real trade with Dallas in over 20 years and haven't made a real trade with Chicago in like almost 50 years.</div></div>
Do you have any statistics or proof that Vegas is the dirtiest team in the league and they get bias from the league? Or is this just your personal opinion?

Vegas is the dirtiest team in the league while at the same time having the league so far up its ass they have the NHL logo for irises. The Blues cannot stand Vegas, and the Blues do NOT help rivals in trades. They sure as hell are not going to give them a franchise icon and help them compete.</div></div>
Not too big a deal in a sense that it shouldn't stop them from doing business if both teams feels it benefits them.
Wouldn't quite say they are the dirtiest team in the league, don't think they play the game any differently than any other team. Not sure how they get special treatment from the league either. They weren't part of Seattle expansion because it was agreed to in 2017. I'm sure if there's another expansion draft in 4 years Seattle will be excluded. The franchise icon hates the Blues at this point and if Vegas has the best offer they would be stupid to be so stubborn as to not trade him there. I'm 100% sure Vegas doesn't end up with Tarasenko, but to say no without listening to an offer is the worst thing management can do for a team.

Genuinely curious as to why you think the Blues hate Vegas so much? They won't play in the same division next year, they haven't really had a bad history with one another (I know Stone's hit on Bozak wasn't clean but still not too big of a deal), they haven't even played each other in the playoffs. Heck, the sharks helped facilitate a trade for Vegas to get Janmark at the deadline so two teams don't have to get along to make business deals.
