I don't see Vegas trading for Eichel after what I saw Buffalo wanted for him from the Rangers. Which is a dumb ask but that's not my decision lol.

Why has Theodore's name started being added in Eichel trades? Has it been rumoured? I don't see why Vegas should trade him.

A couple of games ago they paired Theodore with Martinez. It was the first time they had done that in a long time, because Martinez was playing with Pietrangelo. Theodore played best when paired with Martinez, so reading between the lines it seems like they wanted Theodore to have a showcase game to make him worth more in an Eichel deal.

A Vegas beat writer put out a Twitter thread with this idea bc the signed Whitecloud to his extension then signed Hutton

He was just speculating based on those 2 moves

Seems crazy to me. He's been number 5 or 6 in Norris voting two years in a row, is locked in through his prime at a fair deal. Should be nearly untouchable.
