Makes little sense for either side. Neal and Klefbom aren't doing anything for the Habs this year and the overlap between what Caufield and Lavoie do well (on top of the surge in Montreal's RW this season) doesn't make him much of a target for Montreal beyond the stigma of sending French players to Montreal.
Weber's a huge risk for the Oilers, given his age and retirement recapture. Artturi is essentially Kahun; there's no real upgrade here for the Oilers beyond Weber. I wouldn't take it.

He really would. I'd prefer him to Taylor Hall if we were to make a trade. Is Montreal looking to trade him though?

Man, loosing Reilly would be playing with fire, though. He is an outstanding defenseman. I cannot see why Toronto would trade for another expensive forward, but maybe they do. Who knows?

stop with these stupid trades man. at least stop overvaluing habs players and think logically. why does calgary trade bennet to canada when habs could play them in the playoffs? bennet is very very good in the playoffs and he's playing good right now. that doesnt get you vince dunn. hes a very very good puck mover and it'll cost you a 2nd and someone like fluery +. there is no reason for rangers to make that byron trade when they have contracts coming up over the next 2-3 years with thier young stars. why tf would nashville take on chiarots contract????? they're heading towards a rebuild. they'll want picks/prospects back, esp considering ekholm is signed for 1 more year

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>DaHabs</b></div><div>Both poehling and Harris are top prospects. Plus a first second and third that’s a lot of futures</div></div>
I don’t see them as top prospects — more so B prospects. I’m not a fan of Poehling, but Harris could turn out. Regardless, Ekholm would be able to return a 1st+ and Forsberg 1st++ and maybe even more depending on the pieces. This just isn’t the right deal for NSH. They have no want or need for Mete or Tatar (so that doesn’t add value) and the rest is not enough for Ekholm + Forsberg. For starters, Forsberg would start with Caufield (a top prospect in the MTL system in my eyes).

NSH rejects — Tatar adds no value for NSH and no top prospects. Quality > quantity as they say

Risky but
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>DaHabs</b></div><div>Fair enough I can understand that perspective. Mine is that bonino has nothi g really to offer after this year wear poehling does. This will be really his first year of pro hockey. Last year was a write off for him and can’t be used to judge his true value. He is a natural leader WJC MVP. And a big game player. He will in fact be a beauty of a power forward in the nhl. That is his true value even if he never gets there that is what he is worth that is what his draft value same as every other first round d pick.
Poehlj g is on his way up bonino is on his way down and out. Like I said and cones from a big Minnesota hockey family. Really a no brainer for minny</div></div>
What he did in the WJC is nice, but means nothing when it comes to pro hockey. What he did last year in the AHL/NHL is what matters; and it wasn't much. He's 22 ow and in his 2nd season of pro hockey. He has potential, yes, but that's all it is at this point. Maybe he figures it out, maybe he doesn't; that is the risk for MN.
Bonino gives MTL a Danault replacement for the rest of the season in your scenario. You'll need to pay TDL prices for Bonino, other teams will be bidding on him too. In "win now" mode you pay a premium and forgo some of your future for that chance at the Cup. It's why MTL shouldn't trade Danault (better than Bonino) and just treat him like a rental they didn't have to pay for, then let him walk after the Playoffs.
If this is the best offer MN gets for Bonino they might as well just keep him and get bounced in the 1st round of the Playoffs by Vegas or COL.

Many teams would easily beat that offer for Ekholm.
Montreal would need to swap Kulak with a very good prospect to have a chance. Ekholm easily gets a 1st + good prospect package, possibly more with retention involved.

MN is not adding a pick to that trade, if anything the 3rd should be going to MN. Weal is 0 value (maybe slightly negative with his $250k buried cap hit). A 3rd for Poeling is probably fair since he has another year of waivers exemption.
Bonino (half retained) is worth somewhere between a 1st and a 3rd, depending on the TDL market.

Ya Joseph could work. <div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>DaHabs</b></div><div>This does free up 1.5million and upgrades there backup goalie and Hudon can offset the offence in the minors for them.</div></div>
1.5 is a good amount but it wouldn't help them sign Cirelli and Cernak, Jospeh would be more likely to moved i this deal because I dont see Tampa wanting to move one of their top center prospects for only 1.5 mil in cap.
