Wish he would sign lower, but the state the league is in, they keep overpaying players. He got a hit of 5.1M$ last years with a salary of 5.6M$, he'll want more money then that for the last length of his career since there are good assets out there but he's top one in goal scoring that's UFA. I like Dandonov and he should hit the 4.5 to 5M$ hit, but while he's close in goal scoring to Hoffman, he's a year older, and total point are lower by a dozen points. He could be a Plan-B if Hoffman doesn't want to come to MTL.

Would also consider Hall, but from what was posted on some walls and by some insider talk on TSN and Sportsnet, he'll want in closer to the 8M$/yr.

This year is weird because we have no idea how owners will direct their General Managers in term of money. Will they approve over spending like other years for Hall, Hoffman, Dandonov or Toffoli.. We don't know.

Habs just gave 3.5M$ to Edmunston which was the number I was giving him based on 3 and 4yrs contracts. So I hit it straight on for that one. We'll see about Hoffman and Hall in the coming weeks.

You obviously don't read. I traded for Kampf. Toews isn't getting any younger and needs someone to help if he gets hurt, Strome is an ok center that will need more time to develop, same for Dach, Kurashev... he's still in the AHL and has yet to shown to be ready to move up at least for another two years of development. By adding Danault, they buy a extra year of a top 3 centerman at low cost which they can re-sign if need be when their young centers are ready or not.

My team, my view. Not happy? Then glad for you.

Not all one way.

Winnipeg, Laine may sign elsewhere next year since he'll want a raise. They currently have 4 forwards over the 6M$ mark.. Wheeler, Connor, Scheifele, Ehlers. They will need to secure the 3rd center spot with someone that can come up to the wing or even get to the stop 2 lines if someone gets injured and around the 5M$ mark. So Domi does fit that mark. Not to mention that they'll need to give some money to the D line at some point. Laine will just gobble that up.

Tatar is only for one year in order to build up a prospect or even trade him again to another team for a pick or prospect they need.

Colorado brings in a good winger plus two picks for a third pick which doesn't cost much for them and he's not a big hit on their salary cap, and would not hit the 3M$ next year either. So he'd be good for them. I'd move out Byron, but his contract is way to expensive for what he brings back.

Min trade would bring in a young player for MTL; but I'd accept to remove him and just keep the 1st versus 3rd and 4th round pick for next year and the year after, for Danault. He'd replace Koivu who cost them voer 5M$ last year and is reallllly slowing down.. So don't bring him back and get a new younger Center who has been leading in faceoffs and puts up good points.

OMG!! Can't even figure out why you came and posted crap on my team... OMG!! If Alzner cou've been moved 2 years ago, he would've been gone!! Even for a 7th vs a 2nd! First off, you're giving our 2nd pick to get rid of cap space that isn't needed at this point.. Like Detroit would even call back on this? They wouln't even want to buy him out since they'll rebuild and need the space to get some free agents to sourround their new picks.. OMG!!

And 4.7M$ For Domi?? He's going for over 6M$, he'll probably end up in the high 5's minimum in his negociations... Then you move him to the wing???... He's not gonna be happy about that,..

Then.. Virtanen for Armia... Wo.. Yeah.... Did Benning suffer a massive blow to the head?? He's got 14M$ to play with, and a few RFAs to sign.. Ok, wow.. Really.. "Sure .. I'll move a good 24yr old for your old guy who puts up half his points just like that.. Best move ever for my team!!"

All your trades suck you take a couple of good teams and strip them down to be bottom feeders setting them back 10 years, but yeah they'll accept these ridiculous moves because you put it here and you know stuff... wow.. !

Drouin-Suzuki-Hoffman (No real complaints except Drouin had not proved he can and should play top line)

Lehkonen-Kotkaniemi-Puljujarvi (Lehkonen isn't a top 6 forward he is a defensive specialist who should be on the shutdown line and PK. Poor-me-jarvi is NOT an NHL quality forward. He excels in the lesser leagues cause they rely more on speed and skill than actual hard work and perseverance. Quite frankly HE SUCKS)

Byron-Brassard-Gallagher (Brassard is good but he is not an upgrade on Danault it would have been better to just put Poehling in that spot IF you really want to trade Danault for that CRAP. Gallagher on the 3rd line, the heart and soul of the Canadiens. The ONLY guy on the team who would have had back to back 30 goal seasons. The teams top right winger who is 1 year away from FA and that's how you treat him! Congrats for alienating him and walking him right out the door for free! Oh and by the way IF that is how you treat your veteran players who pretty well bleed red, white and blue Habs your never going to get another top FA to sign in Montreal again like ever! Cause players talk)

Auston-Reese-Evans-Armia (well at least it has size not much skill but it for sure has size)

Price-Allen (both goalies leave next season due to the Swiss cheese defense you put together.

Romanov-Weber (just throw the rookie to the lions and watch him fail approach, great idea! You also pair him with the slowest d man on the team so he better have Mete's wheels cause if not they are going to be lit up nightly)

Edmundson-Petry (why not just put Alzner beside Petry? I mean you tried to recreate his contract and Edmundson was one of the worst defenseman in the league last year. So why not give him Alzner money and play him in the top 4 right! Another bonehead idea from king bonehead!)

Chiarot-Larsson (Well at least you got these two guys in the right spots in the lineup)

So now the big projection! This lineup as constructed rivals Detroit for least amount of wins in NHL history!! Congrats at least you set a record. Oh and cause they suck so bad the Habs leave Montreal and head to Hamilton and become known as the other leafs. Never to return again.

Wonder who's trolling... The one who can't give good feedback yet continues to come over and post while his own GM Armchair teams moves are ridiculous in concept.
