OK, let's get real here.
What Domi are we trading? The 28 goal 72 pt Domi of 2018-'19, or the 9 goal 45 pt of the previous year?
Let's compare him to Sam Reinhart:
400 109 146 255
375 81 170 251
Hmm, other than goals pretty darn close and Domi is only 9 months older than Sam.
I doubt there is a single Sabre AGM who would accept the 7th OA for Sam, but all of them think the 8th OA is way too much for Max.

Kulak, Brett Is just the LHD Buffalo needs, a stay at home defenseman who could be paired with Rasmus, Brendan or Collin so they can push their offensive skills.
Domi, Max Certainly will not be pushing Jack out of the the number one spot, but is a solid #2 center averaging 55 pts over 82 game season.
ONLY 78 forward had more than 55 pts in 2018-'19 season, let's see 31 team, 3 forwards per line 93 first line players.
2020 2nd round pick (MTL) about the 47th OA, a player taken here would need most likely 3 to 4 years to get to the NHL
2021 3rd round pick (CHI) Not much value just a throw in.
2020 4th round pick (MTL) nice to have extra picks, who knows if one will become Linus Ullmark, or Marcus Foligno, or Chris Butler, or Jan Hejda.

While I would rather keep the 8th OA instead of getting Max, when a solid NHL LHD is added, I start to listen, then a decent 2nd, and finally depth picks. I am hard pressed to pass this up.
Olofsson Eichel Kahun
Skinner Domi Reinhart
Johansson Cozens Okposo
When was the last time (if ever) Buffalo had three lines that had the potential for more than 50 goals each.
BTW that second round pick could be another Asplund, Guhle, Lemieux, Compher, McCabe Buffalo's 2nd round picks from 2012 to 2016
And Buffalo would have 2 second round picks that may turn into decent mid six forward and second pairing defensemen.
IMO this is a good offer and Kim Pegula would be a fool to not accept it, oops I meant Kevyn (Sycophant) Adams

Lastly, if you think Julien is bad, try your luck with Krueger.
Eight Sabres had career worse years last year Okposo, Montour, Miller, Hutton, Skinner, Sheary, Vesey, Rodrigues with him at the helm.
Vesey, Johansson, Jokiharju and Miller were all added before the season started and he had Montour for the entire season and yet through his great coaching he had a worse record than Housley.
The teams PP and PK ranked near the bottom of the league and it is easy to see, they are not coached properly.

Let me close, I watched your Canadians in the playoffs, they are very close. They have great speed all the through the line up, and with Price in goal they will always be in the hunt
No need to be worried about the future with all of the picks you have and the team on the ice.

EDIT:
That is my rant of the day, stay tuned tomorrow for another one.
