Washington declines easily unless there's more contracts coming the other way for aging players (ie Oshie). They're already set on RD and LW/RW for the next few years - no need for Petry or Anderson.
Boston declines as well - Underperforming Dvorak will not get you Debrusk straight up - you'll have to add in a high pick and prospect IMO.
Seattle and Arizon trades might just work.
SJ trade isn't need for both teams.

Congrats. You just derailed the franchise for a decade, and didn't even get a 1st rd pick in this year's draft.

definitely could get more for brad, as far as prospects are concerned, I would wager that you could probably throw in tulio or holloway and still have it be accepted, if not even more.

That would be a non-starter for Ottawa. Truthfully, I don't think Ottawa would entertain trading Pinto unless it was for a top 6 winger. Pinto has the potential to be a high end 2-way centreman, Brannstrom has Krug-like qualities, and the 7OA pick will be for a quality dman or winger this season.

I understand your thought process tho. Isles fans keep positing about Matt Grzelyck and Mike Reilly for some reason I don’t understand. But those guys are also buying out Josh Bailey so they don’t know what they r talking about Lmao.

You’re starting to get absurd. You know that’s not true. If you want to argue fit, be my guest. A top six winger, a top four d, a 1st, and a 2nd for Scheifele is far closer than a top six winger, a top four d, a 1st, and a 2nd for a 5th.
I get it. Your team is in a bad spot right now. Its gotta be frustrating. Mine will likely be in a similar situation soon. It doesn’t mean you have to lash out at everyone that posts a trade. Scheifele is not elite. He’s not getting unprecedented trade value.

I think the Jets biggest need is a stud right shot Dman. I would love to have a deal centered around Carlo.
I made a trade on a previous thread that was Carlo, Debrusk & a 1st for Schiefele & Stanley.
But another option is Pesce (I think is also very solid, but not as valuable as Carlo)

Dvorak is worse then Coyle and makes only $800k less. Dvorak fetched a 1st round pick last summer, let's stop with the Coyle is a bad contract. The guys playing a 3rd line role and still on pace for nearly 50pts.
Don't see Boston having much interest in any of these moves.

Doggone it
Value is fine with the bruins deal here, but I just don’t really think it’s a fit for boston. It’s not like this is a team that has the centers and really needs, “the,” winger.” Were this trade to go through, the bruins would have marchand, pasta, hall, and tarasenko. That’s like 26 million for the top six wingers, which isn’t necessarily ideal. Then you need to think about the following year, when both pastrnak and tarasenko would be due new contracts.
The bruins are way better off having two wingers that can play up and down the lineup, and provide secondary scoring for roughly the same price tag…kinda like smith and debrusk.

Bergeron
Bergeron is retiring a Bruin.
They made moves to contend until he retires, and if there was any indication he was leaving they would have traded him at the deadline.
And just like everyone has mentioned, he won't go from a 1c, to a 3c and move from playing with Pastrnak and Marchand to Mikheyev and Engvall.

Bruins need a 2c
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Windjammer</b></div><div>Lol. Get real. When have you ever seen a team trade a player that they have no intention of trading for a bunch of stuff that fills exactly zero needs for them?
It just doesn't happen. You may think the NHL runs like a video game and as long as the rating of the players from your team equal the rating of the player from the other team, it's an instant yes.
They may be Boston's to prospects, but that's only because the Bruins are horrible at drafting. It's even funnier when you are calling Studnica a top prospect, as he is has closer to an outright bust than he is to even a B or C level prospect.
So, when you factor in two of the players are pretty much worthless to the Jets, one bring a replacement level center and the other an unneeded LD.
It makes it a quick and easy no from Winnipeg.</div></div>
When have i seen a team trade an NHL veteran for futures? Only all the time. It’s the most common form of trade in the NHL. Where have you been bud?
I also don’t think you know who lohrei or lysell is, but it doesn’t really matter. You’ve kind of made your stance of, “everyone on winnipeg is perfect and no trade will ever be good enough,” known.

idk if malkin comes at 6.5 hes still super productive i think hes gunna cash out somewhere. and youre def right in the sense debrusk is traded before smith as long as he still doesnt want to be here.

Askarov, Wallstedt, Cossa, Wolf are better, that's it. Look at his stats. Even if he's not Top 5, he's Top 7 or 8 and I bet almost everyone on this site will agree with me on that one.
And that's like the most unimportant part of my comment.

That's why I said dream team, also doesn't have to be Meyers could be someone else that is a NHL ready bottom 4 centermen on one of the college teams. Also the point of an offsheet is to overpay to get the player.

True but he has solid potential. AZ gets a D man back and DeBrusk. They can draft a Lysell equivalent with that pick. Maybe throw in a second round pick.

No I did not. I put Lohrei and a first round pick in there plus they get DeBrusk who will be under team control. That’s pretty solid return. Lohrei is DPOY in the NCAA. He projects to be a solid NHL player.
