Kreider on the third
Kreider and Mika have great chemistry and Chris just scored 52 goals, so the reward is breaking the pair up and putting Kreider on the 3rd line with Chytil and having Blais on the 2nd line RW? Yeah, sorry, not your best idea. Laffy will move to RW way before any of this happens.

Panarin
I don't see Tavares leaving TOR and especially not for NYR. Then I don't see Drury adding a player like Tavares either. I also don't see it being a one for one trade.
More needs to be added by TOR. I would say a prospect + 2nd maybe?

Eichel White
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Dontwhine2me</b></div><div>This trade is bigger than some are able to comprehend.
If Eichel is so incredibly talented AND wanted he would not have remained on the block for 18 months.
Teams cannot just shell out 4, 5, or even 6 pieces equivalent to 1st round picks for an injured player with attitue/maturity concerns. Also happens to carry a 10 mil per cap hit for 5 years.
Most Sabre fans expect the return for a player tier Eichel has never attained. You want to trade for the superstar you still see developing 5 years after being drafted.
It's just simply not the case.
Too big for some to comprehend.</div></div>
Lol yes, it is too big for my pea sized brain, I shouldn't even attempt to comprehend something so mind bogglingly complex

Eichel White
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Book_Hockey</b></div><div>Need someone to put the puck in the net
And who is that? Buch? The guy who's career high is 21 goals? He's not a good enough piece for an Eichel trade to be centered around. Chytil hasn't done much, although he could be a good 2C. Schneider is a good prospect but nothing outstanding. 15 overall in this draft doesn't go very far. Just an underwhelming package...it's incredible how people think Eichel's value has fallen that much.</div></div>
Buchnevich, the same guy who is 26 and can play even strength on a top line, play PP, kill penalties? He doesn't have enough value for you? Chytil? A guy that averaged over a half a point per last year with no PP ice time and extremely limited even strength time? Schneider isn't anything special? You sure about that one, scout? The guy just took home the Hunter Trophy for best d-man in the NHL and skated with Canada at the World's. You are out of your mind man, and no offense, but the comments you just made in assessing these guys show me you aren't as familiar with these guys as you try to show.

Then the counter would be Suzuki, Norlinder, Caufield, KK and Primeau for a bag of pucks (just a play on the McDonagh trade from way back when).

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Dontwhine2me</b></div><div>Yea 10 mil per.... less than 10 teams league wide can take the hit and not all of them are in the bidding.
His 5 years and 50 mil is just a smaller issue than his neck and attitude.
For instance in NY, it poses big issues resigning Zib, Fox, Miller, Kakko, Shesterkin, with Panarins 11+ mil hit. I'm sure other clubs have same issue, cap space marked for young players of their own.
Buffalo is a day late and dollar short. They should have pushed the issue last offseason. With healthy Eichel, a bidding war would have been there and their high ask could have been met.
No longer.
Overall, the scope of this trade is too much for most to comprehend, it's not EA NHL 21... or fantasy hockey swapping point producers.</div></div>
The expansion draft also comes into play also, I agree with all of this 👌

ONLY got LD Brannstom, C Oscar Lindberg and a 2nd.
Buffalo fans are going to cry n whine when they see the final get for Eichel.
Sorry but without a bidding war... they will be picking from teams 2nd and 3rd best offers.
Because Jack IS NOT STAYING ANOTHER YEAR.
He doesnt want it nor does Buffalo.
They will get rough equivalent to 3 1sts, a cap dump and a B+ prospect.
Unless they are eating some salary.</div></div>
Didn't Stone have 1 year left when he was traded?
Eichel has 5

Yes, he is injured, but you're acting as if he is the first player that has ever been injured.</div></div>
It's not asinine man, there is a reason only a few teams can take on eichel, its the cap and his 10mill with his injury and the fact he wants out! that combination of things drive down his value 5x because it's a organization crusher if u get it wrong. Eichel is a great player, no denying that, but its such a complicated situation that to assume an organization is gonna hand over a lafienre or Byfield or zegras + for that type of risk is not gonna happen. I just don't see it honestly, for buffalo's sake i hope they are made whole, but its gonna take a miracle

A lot of people think eichel is pulling Laffy, fox and kakko with 4 1sts, but they need a dose of reality, Buffalo is not getting a top prospect unless they retain salary, the offer this post made is the max they would get, you are 100% correct sir

Not angry....just really wondering- what kind of offer do you think you are bidding against? ANA seems to be the biggest competitor- but they are seemingly not warm to including Zegras...if this is the case then why such a heavy offer? And if ANA is offering Zegras- then let them have Eichel.
