<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>vikhodush</b></div><div>At this stage of some of those guys careers - I’d think the following are relatively in the same tier and pretty interchangeable.

Toews - Hertl way better, dude hasn’t played in over a year and likely won’t be what he was 5 years ago
Suzuki - not as good yet
Malkin - with injuries, would take Hertl
Kuznetsov - Hertl is better at this stage and with less baggage
Backstrom - about even
Reinhart - Hertl better or even at worst
Seguin - with injuries last couple seasons Hertl is better
O’Reilly - even
Danault - even
Zibanejad - even
Horvat - even
Larkin - Hertl better

You’re not objectively showing how he’s worse than all the guys you listed.</div></div>

Half of those guy a selke candidates

Hertl has had one season over 50 points

Zibanejad has had 3 and a 40goal season

Larkin had had 3 on the worst team in the league

Horvat has had 3 and is a fantastic 2way player

Danault same on points but is a top 5 defensive center

O’Reilly 3 seasons not scoring at least 50 points, Stanley cup champion, selke winner you’re on something if you think they’re even

Seguin has like 2 seasons under 60 points and with the injury excuse then shouldn’t hertl be better than eichel so that’s just malarkey

Reinhart 3 50+ point seasons on one of the worst teams

Backstrom is a consistent 70 point player and one of the best passers on the game

Kuznetsov might have baggage but is easily a 65+ point guy

Malkin has more hardware than hertl could dream of having I’m not even looking at the points cause that’s ridiculous

Suzuki 40+ point in his first 2 years at 22 easily better

And toews has more hardware than hertl could dream of as well and has been one of the best defensive players for a long time

You literally are just saying nonsense
