Wow you must really hate the TML. You’re a terrible armchair GM.
Chytil for a second, good luck!

Holl for some of the flak he gets is a massive step up from Carrick. On the third pairing and Limited PK would do wonders, the issue is he was put in a position to fail by playing too far up the lineup.

Seeing as I am being dragged into this trade I will respond. Buchnevich is a small downgrade to Nylander in my opinion, Georgiev could be the goalie we are looking for and at almost half the price. Andersen needs a new contract and will likely be out of our price range. As for his record, his playoffs have been meh. Lemieux is a great 4th line player who will add some physicality and grit too our lineup. He is also still young.
Provided we can get Pesce for Andersen plus and can snag Anderson from the CBJ I would do that trade.

Appreciate it, maybe a three way with another team with a very good 2C and a LHD coming back your way. I was thinking about the expansion draft and trying to figure out what you do with Lundquist. While he can certainly play another year it would be a shame not to see him close out his career with the NYR as the backup. You can’t lose Georgiev for nothing in the expansion draft.

IDK anymore
Seriously a 19 year old kid as our starter? Second you do realize that you traded for Pesce and then signed Hamonic to a 4 year deal just before the Seattle expansion. So we lose Hamonic or Muzzin to expansion or have to spend a high end draft pick to keep either of these two.
Lastly with all the cap space you created why are you trading Engvall for a 5th.
Sorry but think these things out a little bit, you give TML a bad name.

Just stop seriously. Poolparty is not a LW, Robertson is not a 4th player playing 7-9 minutes. Not sure why you hate Holl so much but he is worth more than a third. PK is bought out and then signs for 3 million? Sure buddy.

Leafs 2021
Words cannot express how badly constructed team you have created:
Robertson a full rookie becomes your top LW?
You trade a kid in Mikheyev who has a defensive game, some jam, decent offence for Magic Beans. Lastly you expect him to play 4th line minutes.....
You trade our only decent RHD and for PK no less
The Sabres trade is a joke, Bot’s while an idiot would laugh at you for that offer
Thornton is our 2LW, really. Ahead of Hyman?
Galchenyuk is not a C, he couldn’t hack it in MTL, Pit or Zona but somehow magically he will be that guy we need....
Simmonds ahead of Clifford? Look I get that there was higher ceiling in the past but he has fallen off a cliff.
Dermott for a 3rd, guy is an established NHLer, young. No arbitration rights likely. He is worth a second and likely a small add to that.
Jeez man this is one of the worst teams I have ever seen constructed. Bravo!

Grigorenko has been great in the KHL, we don’t know if Robertson is ready true but Pietrangelo addresses all of our needs and allows our Rookies to play a more sheltered roll. Mikheyev is the far superior player to AJ. If we have to sub Robertson for Engvall and find an NHL minimum contract is it really going to be so bad?
The 3 million dollar increase is basically what happened last year so I don’t think it’s unrealistic.

Radical Offseason
The reasoning behind the one year deal for Mikheyev is the uncertainty with his hand plus cap considerations. Grigorenko is a wild card but he has been linked to TML last summer and I think he would be a more suited to third line role with some skilled players on either wing. Also neither player needs to be protected.
Robertson is a wild card obviously but if he can make the jump he could be Marchand 2.0.
Obviously the signing of Pietrangelo solidifies our D Corp. Liljegren gets a solid vet to play beside and Holl ideally moves down to the third pairing where he should be.
As to why the Sabres trade their 1st in 2020, there would be conditions if it ends up top 10 no dice but they get 3 full time roster players. Both AJ and Kerfoot add 40-50 points each. Kerfoot can play 3C or LW. Dermott will slot in nicely on the third pairing and adds some grit in the way he plays. I suspect a 2.5 million per for 3 or 4 years would do. Sabres would still have a ton of cap space to resign Reinhart. Hopefully Middlestat and Cozens can make the jump to their 2C. I think Middlestat takes another year in the AHL replaces Kerfoot who is exposed in the draft. If I am the Sabres I also trade my 2020 2nd or Miller to CBJ for Anderson. They also go after Holtby to solidify their goalie position.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>MikeyThePensFan</b></div><div>Yes, I agree that they all got a little bit more than they deserved. Of course Marner is an elite player, but I think what I offered was fair in value. A top 6 Forward, a top 4 defenseman and a 1st Round pick. How much more can a player be worth? He isn’t Gretzky.</div></div>
You changed your offer after what I suggested to potentially get a deal done and I asked for two firsts. Look just saying nobody in Toronto believes Nylander is the more important player regardless of some possession metrics. Nylander will likely be a 60-70 point guy unless he continues to play the way he has the past 6-7 games. Does he have the skill to be Pasta, yes but he hasn’t had the motor up until recently. Marner has the skill and motor. It may come down to one being forced to be shipped out but I think AJ and Kap get moved before either of them.

Some fan site, really. I already said all three were over paid. Kid had 94 points and was the engine of the team. Should he be making around 10 per but overpaid on AM and what is his agent and family saying after he wasn’t given any B bonuses on his ELC and just lead the TML in scoring. At the time Nylander’s contract was up he should have been paid around 6-6.5.

I guess I’m blind and deaf because I have never heard any Toronto fans say the Nylander is better than Marner. We weren’t happy with the demands made by all three of our stars considering they have yet to win a playoff round but that again has to do with our Management’s poor negotiations. Second show me any of these charts that show Nylander is better than Marner!

Please go to a rehab centre because you need help. All three of our stars were overpaid, no question that Dubas did a poor job of negotiating. Being overpaid 2-3 million on your super stars is no big deal. Like I said it would have to be a massive overpayment to be worth our wild and the original trade is woefully bad.

Dude you gotta be kidding, Marner for a UFA, a late first round pick and another smallish LHD who has been traded once already. We have Dermott and Sandin who both project to be better.
First off Kieder is a nice 2nd line LW, nothing earth shattering. If the TML brass were to do something so stupid it would be your 2020 1st, your 2021 1st, Kreider extended for 6x6 and Pettersson.

Wow you really know how to stick it to the TML.
PK Subban is a shell of his former self. Want no part of that at any price;
We downgrade on LW and take on a bust of a former 1st;
Kap plus a 3rd and 4th for a backup goalie and a 4th liner....
Juulsen is dealing with severe concussion issues and will likely amount to zero in the NHL

Blockbuster Leafs-Habs Trade
Pretty sure that would be a no from Habs fans. Look I get it that Petry has been a beast this year but he is not a 1st Pairing RHD. As a TML I would seriously consider it as it not only addresses our RHD and it gives us a #3C/4C that would likely make our team better down the middle this year and as Phoeling grows could push out Kerfoot who is likely a good trade chip.

If Gardiner was on any team other than the TML it would be a bigger package. Muzzin got a first and two former second round picks. One who likely will be in the NHL. Muzzin better defensively but nowhere near the offence of Gardiner. It’s a 2021 2nd.
Johnsson is highly thought off regardless of what you think again. MVP of Calder. 40-50 points as a rookie.
Brown 30-40 points PK, middle 6
Zaitsev sure overpaid but can fit 4-6. Cap hit not a concern on Canes.
