He does, he just has such a soft spot for cates that even when he cannot produce offensively (4-5 points this year) he still plays him, even on the 4th line with two grinders. I love Cates and his defensive mind is a great thing for the flyers, but it comes to a point where you have to produce on the other side, and I can tell you for certain he's not doing that with his current linemates. But hey, we're winning, and having two rookies, even one that can challenge in being one of the top scoring rookies, being as productive as they have been such a nice thing to see.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Hammerwise</b></div><div>Probably what it takes and doable for both sides. Frost did have 46pts last yr on a bad offensive team and when hes dressed, hes looked good and been productive. Hes young and signed fairly cheaply.
The NYR pick is probably a crap shoot with the best off the board and the 4th is also 2024.
Probably a slight overpayment, but its in division and PHI has no need to move him</div></div>
Fair and a good assessment. To me, I do not think interdivision trading, at least in the eyes of Briere, matters. Whoever offers the best, he'd take the best, even if it was Pittsburgh. Frost is talented, and I hope he has a productive career, I just cannot see it in philly as long as torts is here.

First time I've seen him overvalued. Flyers would take that in a heartbeat, late first or not. I would genuinely be happy with a second for him, since he really doesn't seem to have a long term fit on the flyers, with Cates and Coots both having center roles, with guys like Cutter not too far off.

How High a Pick for Seeler Walker
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>SharkTank</b></div><div>Not sure Flyers will be selling. They keep winning. 🙄</div></div>
I'd still think they would, especially Seeler since it seems they value the bigger picture this time around, so selling assets like Seeler and allowing another young guy to take his place and develop seems like the likely scenario.

Lowkey wouldn't mind seeing walker stay another year, considering the Risto situation and how most our rhd prospects are still a bit away.

How is this possible - Hart
Imagine one of your goalies in your tandem has to go the other way. Then a first, and likely a mixture of a pick/prospect sort of deal.

Nashville's side. Especially with the Saros trade, practically carried them last year when they had an ahl roster. I know goalies are typically undervalued, but he's of three goalies that can justify a lucrative return.

Saros and Novak trade would not happen, especially since the values for Nashville are off by a decent margin.

Push with Limited Cap
Value is not what it should be for the preds, considering how productive Novak has been and becoming a number 2 center on the team (granted not too hard considering who they have), and with Tomasino being a part of the retool, I doubt they would swap him with another struggling prospect.

It's a good problem to have, but the fact that they cannot move a single one of those two is insane. Peeke can be a good bottom pair guy and Boquist still has upside, just not here on the jackets.

Also, confused about your Spence comment. Trading Spence is an option because Clarke is ready to replace him. The right side after the trade would be Doughty, Roy, Clarke.</div></div>
I wrote this at work so I was't entirely paying attention
Tourcotte is a project player much like tippet, who can be apart of the future.
Spence is someone who could be long term if Roy leaves, could be a nasty right side.
I shoved in frost because of the recent scratches, figured he could play left wing, if not, someone like Allison could be subbed in.

Hart Discussion
Flyers would want futures/projects, so for a deal for Hart, like you have in your trade above, Turcotte would be a block apart of the larger trade heading to Philly. Philly would love to take Spencer, but considering how's he's played, I doubt LA would want to base on the idea of having Clarke, Doughty, and Spence on the right. To me, if he's available, I'd like to see Laferriere (Or Spence) apart of the deal with some Bonafide upside. If that also means sending a piece back like Frost than I'd be fine with that. So I guess that brings me to my proposal;
Flyers: Hart, Frost(Or some player similar)
Kings: Tourcotte, Laferriere, 1st, Conditional 2nd (that can become a first if the kings reach the ecf final this year), Copley

That flames deal is something. I'd feel as if Calgary should be giving the picks, not the caps. But if anyone is going to fix Huberdeau, despite having a slow start, its Alexander Ovechkin

Too little. A way worse goalie with an albatross contract for the flyers backbone in net. Value is not WAY off, but there needs to be more.
Edit: (I didn't see the 2024 first) then its not too far off, still would want a prospect with it.

Kj deal
I'd be fine with this knowing Florida was a lock for the playoffs. Johnson is 21 and with Cutter, Brink, Forester, etc. likely taking full-time roles next season would be something to watch. However, I doubt the jackets do it, since he's only three years removed from being drafted and was solid last year.

I'd expect that, I just know the blues have a log jam of bad contracts on defense, and Huberdeau being 3 mil retained playing with Thomas/Kyrou could and would help him return to some form of what he was. Plus with the Cap going up it would even out, and they get a much better defenseman in return for Krug.
