Agree to disagree. I just think its starts Stud on an uncomfortable foot. Two ways of looking at it i guess. Have a good weekend!

I actually disagree. I feel like he's shown he can be an effective everyday player, but never from the wing. He can still have skill, pace, offense from the 4th line. what he needs is a regular shift at his natural position. So you play him at wing and then when 71 and 63 come back hes kind of in no mans land. Get him playing center, build some chemistry with some guys (hes looked good with Mclaughlin and Greer) and give him as many games as hes earned.

Personally, I just cant see that happening, he hasnt played wing at all during camp, and hasnt really looked great at the wing previously. I think this is pretty close tbh

Simple yet polarizing
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>GeneralLandro</b></div><div>paying for your cap dump? not all that polarizing for Anaheim</div></div>
The trade may not work for Anaheim, but Craig Smith isnt a cap dump. I feel like every player over 30 now is just considered wrongly as a cap dump. 3.1mil 1 year left for a guy who had 16 goals last year (and thats a down year) come on man.
Hes probably worth a 3rd.

Just being honest
I wouldnt put Studnicka in B's top 5 prospects (maybe 5)
and Hall might be outside the top 10.

Injuries yes, but i think most bruins fans see their goaltending as a borderline strength. Guess we'll have to wait and see!

Maybe this is me being a bias bruins fan - but i still think BOS has the upperhand on Ottawa/Washington.

Predicting top 10s for this season
ID expect Pastrnak to have an uptick from last year's 40. He had a really understandbly slow start to the year - now has Krejci and Hall most likely on his line. id expect him to be above Debrincat and co.

Trying to find a Pacioretty replacement
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>evelutions2</b></div><div>And the bruins aren’t getting Jarvis. I don’t expect the Bruins to be ever so courteous to get Dunkin Boy to sign the extension favorable to the Canes, so I would expect Waddell to work his magic with an extension. Ideally it’s a prearranged extension, but considering the Canes and Bruins history with each other, I doubt that happens.</div></div>
Whether its Jarvis or other prospects youre gonna have to give up something you dont want to. Necas + aint gonna cut it. "Dunkin Boy" is pretty much a lock for 40-50 a year - so you cant just give up stuff youre ok with giving up.

The Canucks need to unload him before his value drops more like Miller.......Canucks need bigger forwards and are too small in size with both Hoglander and Garland in the lineup.</div></div>
lysell is 5'10" like 175lbs. Also B's wouldnt move him for Hoglander, just doesnt make a ton of sense for them.

No Bergeron Start The Rebuild
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>PhysicalGraffiti</b></div><div>What do you expect to get? Let me guess something completely unrealistic?</div></div>
I look at it this way - Hampus Lindholm gets moved for a 1st, 2nds, John Moore, Vaakanainen. I would assume 1 2nd round pick was to cover for Moore. so the deal is Lindholm for a 1st, 2nd, and Vaakanainen.
Vegas' 1st round will most likely be late-ish, Brisson was a late first round pick himself (Like the player though), and Kolesar doesnt add any value. So compared to the lindholm trade its really maybe a minimal upgrade in value. So i think especially with an extension its not unrealstic to think you can get a lot more value out of a Pastrnak trade.

Contenders for next year
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Lambchopz</b></div><div>My logic for this is that with Forbort and Rielly having gotten 3x3 extensions last offseason and Lindholm getting the long term extension this past season, one of the LD is likely on the way out. I believe Gryz is the best d man of any of those 4 if I’m being honest, but after a disappointing playoff run I wouldn’t be shocked if they move him (also considering he makes more than Rielly and Forbort). His value is likely at a low rn, and if Boston wants to move him out I doubt they get a crazy return, especially considering how quality players have been traded for very minor returns. I do realize this was a little low on the return side, so whatever it takes added on top of this would be fair, but again I don’t think it would be a super high return if he was moved</div></div>
I guess my response would be the B's are trying to compete so giving away the best out of the 4 is counterproductive, especially to a team in their division. Theres feeling that one of Reilly and Forbort (I lean Reilly) might be the odd man out. Gryz is also hurt to start the year so its unlikely he gets moved as well.

Pastrnak
If Pasta said he wanted to be moved i would have a hard time not liking this deal. Send him to the west coast out of conference and get Eklund back who would pair really well with Lysell. The only thing is I would assume the Pastrnak extension conversation would happen after the draft so that pick may end up being 2023.
