Now Bedard, Reichel, Korch, EDM, and Nazar all end in same off season. Just hope they have enough leftover to extend Foligno…

Can we say that Arizona signed this guy since it starts when his NHL team is named Utah?

Philadelphia Flyers signed Ivan Fedotov (2 Years / $3,275,000 AAV)
He's had a great KHL career, but this is an insane bet for a guy who came in and stunk the place up for 3 games. Could totally work out, but it's just as likely he's Russian Mikko Koskinen

Starters
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>HockeyManiac95</b></div><div>You really think Brossoit could be a starter for the Avs with his age and all? I think I like Kahkonen best, then Ned. By Father Finn I assume you mean Raanta? In that case, no thanks.</div></div>
Age does play a factor but not so much with some goalies (lots of variables like injury history, late bloomers and so on) and I don't see it as a huge issue with Brossoit. Kahkonen I still think would be the best shot myself, and yes by Father Finn I meant Raanta. Talbot would be another possibility as an older guy.

Annunen is going to get the shot to run as the 1A, I’m not a Ned fan, and Samsonov might make you wish for Georgiev back.

Probably take a punt on Kahkonen myself out of those. Finnish starter (don't see Lankinen as one so that rules him out for me), Finnish back up, Finnish goalie coach.
Ned as a second choice. As <a href="/users/HawksGuy81" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">@HawksGuy81</a> says....Samsonov I'd rule out as too inconsistent.
Other options - Brossoit from Winnipeg, Father Finn as a gamble from Carolina.

I think broissot or however you spell winnipegs current back. If they do move geo i thik he could be a solid backup looking for a starter position that can also give a good chunk of the work to annuen

Just couldn't resist, could 'ya?
I'd say Kahkonen or Ned are the best bets of those 4 you listed. Lank isn't a #1 and Sammy is way too inconsistent.

Only 2 things I see different is girard might play with johnson and walker with manson.
Parise and duhaime could possibly switch.
I'd like to see kovalenko play at least for 1st game or until drouin comes back.

Ideas old and new
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>dgibb10</b></div><div>I would prefer to keep Holtz ideally.
Colton cost a 2nd to acquire, for cap space i'd offer back what you paid.
I'm estimating what Georgiev would cost at a 3rd, could be off on that.
Overall, I'd offer NJDs pair of 2nds next years. or a 2nd+3rd for just Colton.
Some NJD fans have fallen out of favour with holtz however, and NJDs front office may feel the same, but I doubt it</div></div>
I can see why you'd want to keep Holtz, still plenty of upside there, and a pair of 2nds for Colton would be what I'd expect the Avs to be looking for if we're talking pure pick value for Colton. Have to remember they traded a 2nd for his rights, not a signed Colton. That said, I'd expect teams to give lowball offers to a degree with the Avs cap situation.

Behrens
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>HockeyManiac95</b></div><div>He's not any worse than Vaneck (probably better tbh)</div></div>
Still doesn't make sense. On top of Blackwood, we've had 3 younger goalies all show flashes of great play in their few appearances. Vaneck is also a reclamation project and I don't see us moving him until his value has gone up.

100%; assuming we can't re-sign Walker, not sure if they will trust a 3rd pair of Behrens-Malinski (I personally think they would mesh really well) so be interesting to see what moves they might make, if any.

I think he has a strong chance but probably needs a year in the AHL and with pro conditioning/training. Skill wise he looked great vs the best NCAA forwards in the championship tournament but he still needs 10-15 pounds of muscle to translate to NHL.
He is a true two-way defender and can easily challenge Caleb Jones next year for 3LD if they don't resign JJ or someone else
