They should have singed Pasta before they signed Draisaitl. Could have gotten him at least .5-1 mil cheaper. IDK about that whole "internal cap" thing. Sounds like an excuse by management to me. Just because they stole Bergy and Marchy doesn't mean Pasta will agree to the same deal

This might work on NHL 17 easy mode. You can't just throw your junk at a team and get Kuch Palat and Johnson

Unthinkable...Boston sends Bergy to the Habs!
The exchange here is ridiculous. I would rather have Bergy than Galch at any age. Even if you are trading for the future, you could get much more from a team like Winnipeg. You could probably get Scheiffle and picks for Bergy. This is like trading Toews for Dylan Strome...

Stan Bowman? And Garth Snow has to be near the bottom.</div></div>
Bowman has kept the Hawks very competitive even after having to dump cap almost every year. Byfuglien, Ladd, and Sopel in 20110. Sharp and Saad a few years back. This year Panarin. Even though they aren't looking as good as usual for next year, they will still be very competitive

Is Brandon Carlo overvalued?
He is a very solid stay at home right handed defenseman. Everyone wants a young right handed defenseman, and he is above average for his age.

Mathys L'Heureux GM VGK
Detroit is in cap hell, no way they would take on Clarkson's contract. Anaheim would much rather have 8 years of Fowler than 3 years of a flaming pile of garbage, an average defenseman, and a pick. AZ is no longer a team that you can dump cap space to. They will be at least competitive. Miller will become a top 4 guy but Wideman is a significant downgrade on Hjalmarsson.

Which playoff team that made it this year will miss next year

I'm going to politely ask you to explain this one, so then I can rant and tell you why we will make it :)</div></div>
First of all, I just wanted to say this is a HUGE guess and highly unlikely. My reasoning is that they lost so much over the offseason. Johanson, Schmidt, Alzner, Shattenkirk (we knew would be a rental) and Williams. After losing that, they have a solid top 6 but no depth. As of now, the defense has three proven guys in Orlov, Niskanen, and Carlson, with rumors Carlson will be dealt at the deadlineI don't know much about Caps prospects but Bowey seems ready to make the jump. I he can't, they'll be stuck with a shell of Brooks Orpik playing. As for forwards, they better hope Vrana and Barber are ready. Overall, bad depth and lack of scoring form the bottom six

I would consider him more of a stretch to be a top 9 guy. A cap dump at best for Nashville.

Who Wins the Cup this Season
Colorado is poised for a deep cup run. They have strong depth in mid tier prospects and overrated veterans, Adding a first overall pick like Nail Yakupov should immediately turn them into a cup contender. Colin Wilson will make a huge difference as a top liner. I say they top the Devs in 6 in the SCF. Vancouver definitely makes it to the WCF. We all know Benning will make a creative move around Thanksgiving. VGK will b outstanding. All they need is the flower to be on top of his game and they easily win the president's trophy.

Youth and tough guys
No need for any more toughness on this team. This would be a good team in the early 2000's but now the game relies on speed. The Bruins already have enough toughness in Acciari, Backes, McQuaid, MIller, and Beleskey.

I don't know what y'all are thinking. Colorado is deep with mid tier prospects and overrated veterans, they'll obviously win the division.
