Isac Lundstrom’s well-rounded ability is what made the Anaheim Ducks select him 23rd overall in 2018. He’s a great passer and a strong two-way centreman. While he’s shown flashes of offensive flair, he’ll likely end up as a solid shutdown centreman in the middle-six. It’s looking likely that he’ll be graduating from this list very soon.

See now that is legit not reddit article and they mention “middle 6” over and over in there and if you say hockeywriters.com isn’t I’m going to give up trying to argue with you.</div></div>

The bottom 6 and top 6 arnt interchangeably very often. Accept injury. You do interchange top 6 forwards all the time. During the game, they play and switch playing with each other throughout most of the game. The top 2 lines are out there with a lot of combos usually. Same with the bottom 6. No coach I know, puts a 3rd line player onto the 1st or 2nd line during a game. Maybe if it’s an injury. Or he is playing well. Or someone is playing bad and u to move him down. But you most always wait till the next game and start him out playing in the top 6 pairings. Accept injury.

Like I said, Top 6 and bottom 6. Stick to that man. You’ll sound like you know what your talking about!! Why so mad?? Cause I said u sound dumb?? Lol. Sorry bud!! I’m just trying to help man!! Good luck!! Keep using that term!! Middle 6 winger..lol.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Lsendel3</b></div><div>Love how Reinhart is the only one receiving playing with star player bump in your explanation. Rust played almost exclusively with Malkin, who some think is still better then Eichel right now (not trying to start a debate just pointing out he’s a star too). Juuso is no different then Pilut, in that they both looked decent in spot time but there’s a reason they don’t both get playing time. These guys aren’t worth much of anything. Don’t know the prospect but at this point in my explanation we’ll call it wash. So now it’s back to reinhart who’s done it (scoring at an elevated pace) more consistently then Rust who’s had 1 year of ppg play (not exactly a ppg player when you’ve done it once at age 28. Taking Reinhart’ s age into consideration this isn’t really close to a good trade for Buf</div></div>

I didn’t say he was the only player benefiting from playing with good players. I was just saying he does. So there is no excuses. And Rust is a Point per game player. Doesnt matter if it was a shortened season or only 1 year. It’s the truth. He is a Point per game player right now. That is his value!! Might be the highest it ever was or ever will be but that his value now, at the time of this trade. A Point per game player. Nothing about that statement is false.

N.Legare is a 20 year old prospect. Was top 50 in his draft class. The captain of his team in the Q league. Will probably make the Canadian WJ team this year. A “B+”, “A-“, “A” prospect. Depending who you ask. Was a top 30-35 prospect in his draft class in 2019. Is close to NHL ready at 6’0, 205 and 20 years old.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Revans292</b></div><div>Dude everyone in here is telling you your wrong Tampa fans Toronto fans and sharks fan, just admit you didn’t know the term and now do. It’s a legit scouting term, and for your reference a top 6 guy is 4.5 a year and up while a middle 6 guy is 1.5-3.5 ish</div></div>

Sure cause reddit says so. Google it buddy. And just look at the links I posted. The only time I can find anyone using that term. Is on reddit. Or one article about the Bruins. And they Quoted it. Saying “Middle 6” cause it was a new thing. The Bruins were trying switching there forwards b/ween top 6 and bottom 6. They coined the phase. It was a new thing they were calling “middle 6”. Google it and get back to me. Good luck. You’ll see. Believe me, I do, you’re not right. No one that knows or played hockey has ever heard of a middle 6 being a phrase. 1st two lines, top 6, are interchangeable. Bottom 6 and top 6 are not mixed up on lines together. The top 6 are mixed up and bottom 6 lines are mixed. Not together though.
