It would have to be really cheap and if its not then maybe the Lightning look for a prospect in the Avs system instead.

you need to watch Gourde more, a good two way defensively sound winger whose metric numbers are good put just **** puck luck this year. He is on pace for 40 points playing less then 14 minutes a night with Paquette and Maroon as his consistent linemates. He is on the 4th line because he is so good on the forecheck and pressure defensively then alot of the Bolts wingers. Put him on your second line playing 18+ minutes and he is a 50+ point player. you will love him... plays hard, tough and with motor. the only thing wrong with him is his contract is about 750k- 1m more then most would like but he is not an overpaid 4th liner.

3 Way D swap NYR TBL
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>AFOX10900</b></div><div>(Dunn is the best of the three)</div></div>
Tampa would be better off keeping Sergachev. Plus DeAngelo is not wanted in Tampa or he would still be with the team... Julien BriseBois was the General Manager of the Syracuse Crunch when DeAngelo got suspended and JBB also benched him twice during that year he was with the Crunch. Then after that first year they traded him. I don't see JBB wants him back, BriseBois doesn't play with guys who have a little bit of an attitude. See DeAngelo, Drouin, Connor Ingram and Jake Dotchin.
Edit: Sorry didnt mean to quote you. I will keep Sergachev I think he has more upside but Dunn is a hell of a player from the games I have seen.

We can steal Cernak
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Boomer125</b></div><div>I had to make 2 trades to cover the Cernak OS, Tampa's gonna offer between 6/7 million over 3 years I'm offering 16 million over 4 years ya he likes Tampa but TO is pretty good to play in good to great team and 10 million more dollars - That's a little tough to turn down.
Trade values are low - I also pulled a prick move and signed an RFA and now have to make space - I'd be content sending Kapenen for a late 1st or a 2nd and a 3rd to a Calgary</div></div>
And yet the rfa's in Tampa always take less to stay. Cernak is well aware of how the Lightning run their contracts and sure he gets closer to the 7.5 range for 3 years but still stays on a better contender, better taxes, not get hounded by the Toronto fans and media constantly, and the weather is also a bit nicer in January in Tampa than in Toronto. If all he cares about is the extra term and $, Tampa can work out longer term if JBB feels that's the best option, but a 3 year bridge is 95% what's likely to happen, then he'll get paid nicely if he continues to improve. I'll believe Toronto pulls these trades off and Cernak takes the OS when I see it. Until then, I'll trust JBB and the Lightning organization to continue getting things done in these matters.

Make 3 trades and Cernak has to, you know, actually want to leave Tampa as well. Cernak will get traded before that if JBB feels like he can't make it work, but he will. Cernak should come in somewhere between 2 and 2.5 at the high end. It will be great once Cirelli, Serg and likely Cernak sign their bridges to watch ppl that don't understand Tampa's structure lose their minds(again) as to how they were able to keep all their rfa's(again).

The backup tender would be Connor Ingram behind Vasilevskiy.
There is no doubt that the Tampa Bay Lightning have great scouts and draft extremely well especially Forwards.
You don't even have Mitchell Stephens, Libor Hajek, and Nikita Nesterov of guys they have drafted who have NHL experience. But they would not have Hajak as they traded DeAngelo for the pick that got Hajak. Great job.

Flat Cap Cup Win Retool
I like the Edmonton trade, Killorn has really stepped his game up but he is the easiest to move and I think that is a fair return by getting the potential of Jesse.
Both Johnson and Gourde are not negative players as some on here like to say. Both are only playing about 13-14 minutes a night in the bottom six in Tampa. Put them on a team on the 2nd line playing 18-20 and you will see they both will be 50+ point players. Johnson still averages about .65 PPG average for his career but this year he has struggled a little but that is because of the ascension of Cirelli putting Johnson onto the 3rd line where he has to re-adjust. And Gourde's metric numbers are great this year but his shooting percentage is horrendous. He has been playing on the check down fourth line with Paquette and Maroon but is still close to a .5 PPG, give him better line mates and more minutes his numbers go right back up.
