Dont give an A to Kucherov. Seen him boils over too many times when the game is on the line. Maybe when he's older but not yet. For now just let Kuch be Kuch.

I've heard a lot of Tampa fans say he's a bad captain and can't take them over the hill. I cant confirm any of that, but if you see what I did above, there's kind of a big roster reformation and maybe it would be the right time to do it. Idk though.

Is this another one of those new trends? Price to Colorado, Domi for Brodin, and now 1st for McDonagh? I swear people have no originality.

Originality? They are in a massive cap dump and desperate. Are you trying to tell me McDonagh isn't with a 1st?

Id say Coburn, hes been with the team since the 2015 deadline and played in two cup finals he can help lead the team

I love Sergachevs passion. He's all heart and soul so maybe he gets the A after Coburn?

I agree, Sergy plays nice with this team hes not afraid to stand up for himself or his teammates. I could see him be a leader on Tampa if they can keep him

Yes originality, that exact trade has been posted about 20 times today to the same team for the same 2021 1st round pick. One person sees it on another thread and it's now the same trade that everybody makes. There is no originality there.

For the value, there's 2 things:

1) Every team in the NHL is aware of Tampa's terrible cap situation and aren't going to let them off easy, IE paying anywhere near face value for players.

2) McDonagh is now on the wrong side of 30 and considering he was on pace for 18 points last season means his value is at an all time low. Considering he's being payed as a top pairing defender for 6 more years means there's a lot of uncertainty with the future of that contract. Like I said, maybe you could get a 1st round pick from a team that is one piece away from being a legit contender, but you aren't getting a 1st from a team that isn't 100% making the playoffs next year.

I guess I started a trend today because I had no idea other people were doing it. Looks like I'm pretty original afterall!

It's a 1st round pick in 2021 or 2022 if MTL won't do it, there is a team that will. Saying he's not worth a 1st makes you sound incompetent.

Why do Palat, Johnson & Mac waive their NTC?

Wings not trading Fabbri, I think Steve likes him a lot and more low future picks do not help.
