Sabres 4th Line Offseason
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>BUFF36</b></div><div>Quinn Savoie 2025 1st ?</div></div>
that price will never be paid. the offense is nowhere near the value of that return.
I don't have a problem using Savoie or Kulich 1 for 1. If not, I also don't have a problem moving on.
Getting Will Carrier back in the org as a UFA offers far more value than losing a 1st, Quinn and Savoie.

Sabres 4th Line Offseason
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>CuyahogaKid</b></div><div>Sabres fan here, if your goal is to pry Crouse out of Arizona, it’s going to take a haul to do so. You’re going to need to start with Kulich, and/or an unprotected 2024 first round pick.
My guess is that they will want a top prospect, an NHl roster player (Quinn or Peterka) and probably a first round pick.
Is that an overpayment? Yes of course it is, but that’s what it will take to pry Crouse out of Arizona. He is a top six F with size and toughness and signed to a team friendly deal. Not gonna be cheap what so ever.
But, yes I would pay that because guys like Crouse don’t grow on trees.</div></div>
Hm. Wonder if Rosen and Jokiharju does the job. I'm not sure I want to spend much more on a bottom 9 player.

Sabres 4th Line Offseason
Just seeing what makes sense. Not sure if a prospect will break through at camp. Rather find guys ready now.
Sorry about Bryson. He's a 7th, find another one, don't care.
Owner and GM are are obsessed with Girgensons. Might as well accept it.

There is interest in Mittelstadt
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>BUFF36</b></div><div>Yes because players don't have off years. Same thing was said about Cat and low and behold he goes to a different team and he's almost a PPG player. Is he perfect, No. But he would bring things to the ice the Sabres need.</div></div>
Fine, send them Jost and a 3rd round pick. Using a player like Mittelstadt to acquire a player like Laughton is asset abuse.

So, a 4th line center for a horribly coached team, and a late first round pick, which is... a pick.
My questions remains unanswered.

Love Savoie. Love Quinn too. That said, it could be that at least one (maybe both) could be in for a troubled career injury-wise.
Just a thought. Having a little fun. Waiting for slings and arrows to come my way.
:)</div></div>
the other site used rosen instead of quinn
don't think the value is there. think quinn-savoie-1st gives the org way more long term value

Buffalo is not interested in a mass dumping from Montreal. I'd say call Arizona but apparently they want to be good or something. You're stuck with those guys. Allen might have a little value.
Barron for Peterka conceptually is ok I guess, not interested though. I'd be fine trading out Peterka or Kulich but I'd be looking for something a little different than Barron.

ALL IN - 1 Last Time for The Core - 3 MUST Get YOUNGER Trades away
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>BUFF36</b></div><div>Buffalo declines, I wouldn't Trade Joker alone for that. If Joker can find consistency in his game he will atleast be a good 3RD. He can play the minutes and is a really good skater. There were some nights last year I thought he was there best Dman. Needs to find that consistency IMO</div></div>
I won't take this space to fluff Joker, but he's more useful than the trade insinuates.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>wojme</b></div><div>Sabres have almost no reason to make that trade. No need to trade joker for an older worse dman. No need for another center prospect. No need to get rid of UPL who will be the backup/1b. It makes them worse overall.</div></div>
Yeah pretty much this. Sabres have no need to send assets away without the return of a legitimate prospect, regardless of NHL role. Broz is probably Alex Nylander.
