NJ 23-24
needs to be a more enticing piece for the jets in a helebuyck trade. replace stillman with seamus casey or holtz and you can take out the second

could probably get grzelcyk for maybe a third if not then a second. boston are in cap hell so they’ll be desperate to shed cap even if grzelcyk probably has more value than a second but no need to throw in po joseph

look what colorado had to give up for darcy kuemper and he’s not even half the goalie helebuyck is, kuemper got a first plus a b prospect, helebuyck will get a first plus an A prospect at least

teams will easily offer more for helebuyck than that. guy has been a top 3 goalie for the last 5 years and will continue for the next 5 years

part 4 time to contend
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>homiedaclown</b></div><div>I don’t hate the moves,
but I’m hoping for something a bit more
I like the top3 lines a lot
Olofsson was at his best with Tage & Skinner, and they both produced with him as well
It also frees up Tuch to help anchor that 2nd line, which i also really like. With a line2 like that, we won’t be so dependent on our top line like in year’s past
The 3rd line is also very interesting to me
Lots of youth & talent, that could end up producing mismatches for us, much like the Vanek-Roy-Pommer line did for us back in 06-07
Idk that Jost would get 4C over Girgs, unless they really just don’t like Girgs at Center
The one thing i really disagree with is breaking up Dahlin & Samuelsson- that pairing just flat out works & is becoming elite
I’d keep them together & find another way to improve the 3rd pair. Worst case, we wait till mid-season & bring in some help
All in all though, pretty nice job
I’ve certainly seen a lot worse, lol</div></div>
i ain’t gonna lie to you i’m not a sabres fan and don’t watch them enough to know which lines work out i mostly did this just to make the signings and trades. also i was planning on doing more but after assessing the team i don’t really know if more is better in this case. i see a lot of people on here trading for helebuyck but i don’t see why because i think if you give levi one year of getting about 35 starts behind a proven veteran he’ll be an elite starter with two years.

both hanifin and lindholm have one year left. hard to say if they’ll resign or not so why not trade them for a borderline young 1st line winger + two young nhl ready players. win win imo

Well they certainly aren’t giving up one of the best penalty killers in the league to dump a half retained Murray

Jets two year plan
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>BatVader</b></div><div>There’s so much wrong here it’s hard to decide where to start…
-Appleton is definitely being extended… Jets wanted to protect him in the ED, tried to get SEA to not pick him, then traded to get him back.. no way they just let him go
-If we could get that for Scheifele I’d personally drive him from WPG to CAR
-Schmidt gets a 3rd without adding to him
-Not only is that to much of a return for DeMelo, but TBL don’t have the room for his cap hit, but again, if it happened, I’d drive him there.. since I’ll already be in that area dropping off Scheifele in CAR
-Dillon returns more
-Barron should be at C, not wing</div></div>
Yes I get this isn’t good but one things for sure is that Appleton sucks ass and I hope he leaves

It’s just the idea keep in mind it’s two years down the line so you never but it’s just a potential look at what a trade could look like
