Unlikely destination for krug
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Bcarlo25</b></div><div>sign and trades don't happen. the last one was setoguchi. what was that? like 10 years ago?
It's a poorly thought out idea.</div></div>
As I said I am aware of the obstacles to this deal. Otherwise I wouldn't have chosen the name "Unlikely destination"

Not a matter of Krug waiving, he can only submit a list of 8 teams he cannot be traded to. Not sure if it is same 8 for the duration of the contract or resets every year.

Next year
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Bcarlo25</b></div><div>Couple things I like about this. I think that nyi is a great target for Krug, given how bad their pp is. I think Edmonton is a great target for Moore, as Edmonton struggles signing solid ufas for term. That said, the bruins are trading these guys because they have too many d men, don’t go acquiring more. Krug for the islanders 1st in 2020 sounds good to me, they aren’t giving up mayfield anyhow. Urho is ready.
No interest in Saad</div></div>
You wouldn’t be interested in Saad even just to dump Backes? I mean, I know there are probably easier ways they can move Backes but I still think Saad a solid player who would be good on that line

Playoff lineup
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Bf3351</b></div><div>So many wrong things, and you only name one. ?</div></div>
Well if you insist,
-not breaking up the 4th line
-Nordstrom and Backes will be healthy’d
-Miller and Krug are not a pair, let alone the top one
-Heinen will be on the right side on first or third line
-Cehlarik and Acciari will play
-Grzelcyk plays on third pair with Miller, Moore sits

Getting Stone based on what McKenzie
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Breakaway</b></div><div>This would be like Christmas for a Bruins fan. Heinen's had a down season but has definitely turned it around the last 8 games scoring 8 points, but talk about selling high. Bjork is injured for the season so I don't understand why anyone trading anything more than a 3rd liner would take him because that's what he projects as. Not giving up 2x 1st's either makes it even better. However I don't think any Ottawa fan would be very happy with this return. They'd want DeBrusk instead of Heinen or Vaakanainen / Studnicka instead of Bjork.</div></div>
A lot of writers and insiders thought Ottawa got an underwhelming return for duchene, I think (and hope) the same will happen with stone, especially if they hold out on the price longer and teams jump on simmonds zuccarello, Hayes, etc. Just have to wait them out, but then you risk ending up with nothing. Definitely going to be an interesting 3 days

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Bcarlo25</b></div><div>Doesn’t look like this works with the cap</div></div>
I would think they would most likely try to move Backes or Moore in that case, or have a roster of 22 (send down kuhlman) until the playoffs when the cap doesn’t matter. Pastrnak will be back eventually anyways

I think chara will be interesting. I know he’s stated he wants to keep playing but he hasn’t looked the same since his knee injury earlier in the year. Also, from the bruins perspective they’re going to need him to take a bit of a pay cut from this year’s salary, or maybe just schuffle it to preformance bonuses, and they have Lauzon and Vaakanainen looking nhl ready. Maybe they bring him back in more of a depth role, or start the season with him on the top pair and slowly work in vaak.

Ottawa would probably gladly take Backes just to help them get to the cap floor but he’s not waiving his NMC to go there
