I got a better idea we turn the calendar back to November 9th 2020 and sign:
Vesey over Girgensons and save $1,300,000
Larsson over Eakin and save $850,000
Kahun over Duclair and save $1,100,000
Pysyk over Rieder negative cap by $50,000

This creates an extra $3,200,000 of cap space.

Skinner Eichel Thompson
Hall Staal Olofsson
Kahun Cozens Reinhart
Vesey Larsson Okposo. Vesey was one of the Ranger's PK forwards.

You all can laugh at me but Vesey will take Kapanen's spot on the PK in Toronto and will have twice as many goals as Girgensons at the end of the season.
Larsson will have nearly as many pts as Eakin with a much better +/-.
Kahun will get exceed 40 pts playing for the oilers and the end of the season will have more pts and goals than Duclair.
Pysyk will have at least double the goals and pts as Rieder playing the RW (he scored a hat trick at RW last year) and he could slip into RHD if there were injuries.

That is my rant of the day.</div></div>

Yeah I was shocked they didn't sign Kahun, it freaking baffled me, but I guess he was willing to take less money for the opportunity to play with his good buddy Draisaitl.
