<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>swinny</b></div><div>First of all, not a Bruins fan, but.....

1. The LA deal has some merit. They do need a legit starter. They probably don't need a LD. I'd the PLD rumours have merit, I can see where Byfield maybe seen as expendable.

So, where the value maybe there, I don't see it getting done from the Kings perspective - even if PLD becomes a King. Long term, PLD signs his deal. Kopitar is off the books after this year (I see him.extending short term for around $6 million). Arvidsson comes off the books, where PLD takes his place. Gives the Kings the same centre corps they have, with PLD as insurance and a better Byfield. Further, given the ages of Kopitar amd Danault, I am that sees Byfield as rather untouchable at this point.

Analysis: right idea wrong team. I wonder if Seattle would consider something like this though. They need a legit tender and the forward depth to pull it off.

2. Sharks deal: I think if you improve the draft choice, Grier may bite. Sturm is very underrated, but clearly doesn't fit the rebuild. Should like Beecher's size in a bottom 6 role.

Overall analysis: yeah, I can see this.

3. DeBrusk to the Avs. I simply don't see Sakic dealing himself out of the 1st round this year. In fact I am.not sure he does this in 2024 either. Do the Bruins really want to wait until 2025? The Avs lack draft capital to male this viable for them despite the player being a fit imo. Thinking long term, the Avs moving on DeBrusk I think is dependent on if Landeskog is done or coming back for 24-25.

Now, I could see Ottawa being quite interested in this for a 2024 1st, depending on what the return is for Debrincat. Could be involved in a 3 way deal if that becomes an option.

Nashville could also be an option - and they do have the draft capital.

If Edmonton clears some cap space, he would work well there too.

Lots of options here.

Overall analysis: Avs just aren't the fit.

4. Reilly to the Ducks..... I have prompted this before tbh. Reilly's game is good, just a victim of numbers in Boston. It would be hard for Verbeek to say no to getting a viable bottom pairing D where in am initial deal he moves up 3 rounds, and can flip him at the TDL for another pick.

Overall analysis: Verbeek should be all over it.</div></div>

Good analysis and a lot more depth than most people would put into a comment. Hats off to you
