Absolutely not on Max domi. If anything I think they’ll look for defense. But with ek, rossi, mk, heidt and then capable bottom 6 guys in hartman and gaudreau they won’t sign a punk like domi.

hard no there bud. Wallstedt is off the table. Guerin isn’t moving 1sts right now. Maybe a 2026 or 27 1st he’d be interested but not sure karlsson is someone they’d want. Or malkin even. Basically block anyone in the prospect pool from coming up in the organization.

That'll cover the cost to discuss his availability, but won't get Guerin to move him. 😏</div></div>
Would need to be the Seattle or Ottawa 1st not bos food.

Unless they start to call a delay of game penalty every time he kicks the goal off the mooring.
Side note - Corey Perry’s how well would that go over after he took out Tavares?

Rossi

Idk I’d consider like a knies and a 1st. Knies isn’t producing but he has potential and the wild have better center prospects than wing prospects, especially if Judd thinks yurov will be better suited as a center.

How come every Toronto post see’s liljegreb getting moved? I mean a clear no on him as a part of a rossi trade. And I think would need more value for rossi

Next years cup champs
I’d be curious at the idea of rossi and Gus for ullmark and a pick like a 3rd. Idk I think ullmark and wallstedt for like 5 or so years would be the top tandem in the league. And with the wild having a ton of center depth coming up and here with jee in his prime and marat, kumpulainen, heidt coming up, could be something to work with.
Disclosure I love rossi and hope Guerin keeps him, but something like this would make some sense to me. There wouldn’t be many holes in the wild lineup after the buyouts reduce. Center arrived, elite wingers in place, defense relatively set imeven if spurgeon is older and top shelf goaltending tandem.

Well boldy is a +3 defensively according to the athletic….. so I’m curious where you got the impression he does nothing defensively.

Well I mean gm’s consistently rate brodin as the best defensive defensemen in the league. Hell they’ve said he’s the basically the choice of anyone to shut down McDavid 1 on 1…… but he’s overrated.

I gotta think Kakko is lining up to be a bust at this point. I can picture the wild wanting chytil but not at the cost of Middleton until their d pans out better. Hartman just signed an extension and seems to be someone that Guerin loves. More skilled than you’d expect and plays up to the talents of the more skilled players around him or just hard with grinders

Rossi trade thought
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>OldNYIfan</b></div><div>The bird in the hand is worth more than the bird in the bush.
That being said, if for some reason the scouting staff are high on Zayne Parekh or Carter Yakemchuk at that spot, maybe. I just think that a center taken four drafts ago is worth more than an A prospect RhD, but maybe people are concerned about Rossi's size. And the Wild's pick is going to be 13 - 16, so moving up might be a better strategy, especially with a team that has a lousy prospect pool and holes in the dance card.</div></div>
How far up could they potentially move for the 9/10 and a 13-16th pick?
