I'm not sure I trust konecnys longevity. Feels like a Gallagher type decline

Buffalo has Peterka, Quinn and Byram to extend after this season and are starting to run out of money. If they're going to add another impact player it probably shouldn't be a smaller winger.

Also not crazy over the Minnesota trade, I would venture to guess I watched more Khusnutdinov than 99% of people this past season and am pretty confident in saying he won't be an impact NHL player

Can't imagine why the Wild would give up on a player who hasn't even had a full training camp year. And giving up the better pick? Definitely a no.

Buffalo has a skilled group of forwards that is both physically and mentally soft. Tk is small, but he doesn't play small. I think questioning how he will hold up at his size, given his style of play is perfectly reasonable, but if you want a winner, it might be worth the risk. Just adding talentless grit to the 4th line does nothing.

Thing that confuses me about Buffalo is that their prospect talent pool is soooo deep, they gotta start pairing some together and get some roster upgrades? No?

You don't really have room for Thompson, Cozens, Kulich, Savoie, Ostlund. At least not in the roles they need to be in order to succeed. I see someone like Ostlund as a player Torts would love.

Yeah, I’m not so much worried about his Cap hit, as i am the length of the extension we’d have to give him
Love the player though
