<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Madrigal</b></div><div>I assume Rosy is Roslovic. Unless he can be flipped at the deadline he has no use for the Flyers so Columbus would have to retain a good bitwhich kind of defeats the purpose of getting so much of the Hayes deal retained. One option would be to trade a prospect with some actual value instead of Foudy who is a dart throw reclamation project at this point which could then lower the pick to a 3rd.</div></div>
Eh, don’t really think we have a prospect worth moving for Hayes. Foudy and/or Bemstrom are what I’d say are on the table. Maybe Jake Bean, if you like; but, we need to clear out some of our F group.
And no issue retaining half on Rosy. The benefit is he is on an expiring contract, so it’s not a long-term hit the way Hayes is.

I think Seattle considers this. Seeler was in discussions as a fit for Seattle at the 23 trade deadline. Comes as across as a low risk trade that gets someone to stick on that bottom pairing between Megna and Fleury (if re-signed).

Take out barron and add jake allen and top 15 protection for 2 years and it's a deal

The value is probably right, but I think CBJ are hesitant to trade another 2nd for Hayes after the Provy trade. We still want to clear out F spots, so maybe adding Rosy with retention can take the 2nd to a 3rd or something?
Then again, this has already been a stupid off-season for CBJ, so who knows.

Theyre probably thinking about when Grier said at his end of year presser that he wanted to address the goaltending. But I think he meant in the context of addressing the system hence why he let 2021 3rd round pick Gaudreau re-enter the draft and signed Romanov and Chrona. Kahkonen is obviously not a future starter and Makiniemi could be if he stayed healthy. I wont be surprised if SJ signs or trades for a goalie this summer but it won’t be at the expense of their top prospects and high end picks.
I can see Grier trading a combination of Mario Ferraro, Noah Gregor and or Fabian Zetterlund maybe even in conjunction with a 2nd or 3rd for a better goalie but he won’t touch one of our top 5 prospects..

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>GirouxCrew</b></div><div>You must be trolling right?
Giving up a 2nd and a 4th to save 1.15M for each of the next 2years is ridiculous. Idc how much better Jake Allen might be, that doesn’t matter to the flyers at this point. It’s actually better that they are worse.
Oh and no shot those EDM deals happen.</div></div>
It’s a Habs fan. Every Canadian team’s fans have spent the last 3 days making flyers ACGM teams where we just give away all of our players in terrible deals. Just click the user name and u can see immediately who is just trolling by their favorite team.

Giroux to avs
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Madrigal</b></div><div>You are on the right path, but not quite there. Not that a 4th round pick is a big deal, but there is zero need for the Flyers to add a pick to that. If anything it should be Colorado.
I agree that a first round pick in 2023 from Colorado would be in any deal. I also think Compher makes sense for a few reasons. First off for Colorado it frees up 3.5 million in cap space. Also, while Compher is a decent player he is overpaid and I would imagine they expected him to get better than he has. For the Flyers it gives them a decent roster player in his prime who is under contract through 2023. Compher gets an audition in Philly for the rest of this season and most of next. At which point they can either re-sign him or trade for an additional asset at next year's deadline.
Lastly, the Flyers should be getting back a prospect/young player. Byram and Newhook are obviously off the table. So that leaves Barron, Hellson, Ranta, Alausson, and Kaut. I think the Flyers should have their choice from that list and while there is no guarantee they would choose him, Barron makes the most sense for their needs.
I have been saying weeks now that this trade makes too much sense for all parties involved not to happen, and that it will be Barron, Compher, first in 2023. We shall see.</div></div>

Adding on a player with huge contract doesn't really fit on Melnyk's MO.
CBJ doesn't really do anything with the assets you offer.
Think both teams decline.

I did this scenario as well, but idk about Ghost for futures. I think ARI is going to take teams to task for eating cap. I suspect they would want picks and salary retention to take Ghost. I think you could still make this work though.
This is a ridiculously good team if everyone stays healthy and youngsters bounce back.
