Holy crap on a cracker, what did the Ducks GM have on you! 2 1sts and a former 1st for Zegras is too much, drop Mailloux and it's a lot closer

Hawks need to trade a a LD & it doesn’t appear that Phillips is in their plans. Just wish they would have tried to pump up his value a little. Even though Jones looks like just another bottom 6 guy & the Hawks have plenty can’t really ask for more at this point.

You traded Zegras for futures, you brought in not one but three centers, added a bottom pair LHD to play 2nd pairing over actual 2nd pairing guys, and then OS'd a guy only to scratch him.
1: The best move made was arguably the Dallas trade
2: The worst move is the Zegras trade, because the return isn't even known, and you just gave Montreal an incredibly potent offensive weapon to drive those picks lower with
3: The team is <strong>MUCH</strong> worse than before meddling. It has one top line, one third line, and two fourth lines.

Laughable. Zegras price is higher than the Eichel return with 3 1sts here.

Settle down big fella
In real life I would not trade Manson for chychrum straight up. I have no idea how you came up with that value.
Seems like the sens over paid for him from az and he hasn’t done much for them since. Where as Manson performs a very specific role for the Avs that helped them win a Stanley cup.

Cabot on the right has proven not to be very effective. Moving Chychrun out for a RD and picks could make sense if the goal is balance on D but the Ferraro move would then be redundant.
The Col and Sj trades essentially equate to Chychrun for Manson and Ferraro along with pick swaps for Col. I’m not convinced this makes the team better.

Re-Evaluate The Evaluator
Best move: The extensions to Chinakhov, Marchenko, Sillinger, and KJ are all surprisingly decent.
Worst move: Lindholm. That's an albatross waiting to happen. The trades aren't much better; very poor value for our guys. (Dumping Texier in favor of Tatar or Mantha in particular really rankles.)
Better or worse: Short-term better, but probably not enough to make much of a move in the standings. Long-term worse because of cap crunch concerns.

I’m saying I think the kings should keep him than trade him.
2 4ths might be his value that’s why I think kings keep him. Chances of him turning pro is higher than the 2 4ths

My perspective is a 1st and maybe a 3rd for a rental or equivalent value. If it’s not paid, Boston can keep him and let him walk next year. It’s healthy to have $3 to $5M in expiring contracts on your books.

Best Move - Signing Byfield to a contract where he should fire his agent if he even considers it
Worst Move - Giving the Byfield Savings to Spence
Worst non move - Assume you could get a better LW than Kaliyev

I cant say i dont see the value in it
but for me i like Anderson and his style of game
Nothing against Burakovsky who's great and might fit in here
I'd actually like to see if he and some of our guys Click
Actually you know what, why not screw it
I like Anderson but maybe in Seattle he'll thrive.

While I think Detroit needs a goalie, a top 15 pick is rich.
I would actually look more at William Wallendir or Carter Mazur as the primary compensation and a 2nd or 3rd on top of it.
Ullmark has been arguably the best goalie in the league over the past two years

best move- signing Q long term, adding energy/room guy Pezzetta
worst move- resigning Kaliyev to play 3rd line role (not a good fit)
worst non-move- not upgrading G
overall- I wouldn't say they really went up or down. Could see a little bump because I think Clarke will be productive in the show, but coming back with the same tandem in net and still relying on an abysmal Dubois contract won't be enough to get them over the hump of the elite west teams
the gm league sounds cool, thx for sharing

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Missouri</b></div><div>Thanks for playing! Yeah I'd argue the Acciari move isn't great cap wise. So that would be worst in my opinion. I think the thinking from the Blues and Panthers GM was similar to the Guentzel deal. Obviously though this trade was made in off-season so that would change the value for sure compared to TDL.</div></div>
Hmm. I think the Cookie move is great.
The Guentzel deal is irrelevant because Buch is not openly available, and if he was this summer a lot more than two teams would be in the chase. Besides, this package is nothing like the one Guentzel returned. He had a direct replacement coming back in Bunting, multiple prospects as good or better than Sourdif and PITT doesn't need to wait 2-3 years for picks. And none of that really matters anyway because the Blues have different needs than the Pens.

I’m thankful Don Sweeney would never do this. Overpay for Skjei. Not fill the center position. Lose picks, my god. This is bad.
If the price was right for Ullmark, that Detroit GM is going to regret it. Cossa isn’t ready for 1A and Husso sucks

The old socks
Best move was probably resigning Stamkos. AAV is a bit steep for a 2 year. An additional year of term would have been nice on that, he'll probably want security when it comes time to negotiate.
Worst move? Oh boy. Seeing as this is 24-25, trading for Jan Rutta has to be up there with other things. If Rutta was in TB's plans he'd have already signed here instead. Lilleberg might need some more developing sure but he's transitioned pretty well to the NHL in his rookie year for us as a 3LD. There's no need to give up an asset for Rutta (and play him at his off-hand on LD) at that AAV when we're still missing a top six scoring help in this lineup, or could use an extra top four RD option instead. Rutta just eats up cap that could be used elsewhere. It's either this or bringing back Barre-Boulet to occupy a roster spot when he's done nothing but cardio for the last 2 months during his NHL stint.
Overall I'd say the team probably gets worse. Rutta is a missed chance to add to the forward core, Conor Sheary is not a legitimate top six option, and the Alex Barre-Boulet is an NHLer experiment has failed, it's time to let go. Also I'm not exactly sure what Girgensons contributes to the bottom six at that cap hit that a guy like Tyler Motte making close to league minimum or a player from Syracuse can't.

Boston has limited draft picks and significant cap room. Why are they trading for a RD? Playing Peeke on the left side?
