Description
This is a simulated result of what trades/signings were made in our GHL GM League for a simulated off-season.

GM's were tasked with the job of getting their team ready for the season. They had to stay within the salary cap restrictions and must have a maximum of 6 players on the Taxi Squad for injury relief purposes.

Your job is to comment and evaluate how the GM managed their team.

Questions to answer:
1. What was the best move made by the GM?
2. What was the worst move made by the GM?
3. Did the GM improve the team or make them worse?

Thank you for playing! Our GHL GM League is played for a couple of months then posted on CapFriendly for everyone to see the results made by the GM's!

You traded Zegras for futures, you brought in not one but three centers, added a bottom pair LHD to play 2nd pairing over actual 2nd pairing guys, and then OS'd a guy only to scratch him.

1: The best move made was arguably the Dallas trade

2: The worst move is the Zegras trade, because the return isn't even known, and you just gave Montreal an incredibly potent offensive weapon to drive those picks lower with

3: The team is MUCH worse than before meddling. It has one top line, one third line, and two fourth lines.

Laughable. Zegras price is higher than the Eichel return with 3 1sts here.

At face value, the CHI trade is probably fine. Might even be an overpay. But I'm not sure CHI would have any interest in Jones.

Hawks need to trade a a LD & it doesn’t appear that Phillips is in their plans. Just wish they would have tried to pump up his value a little. Even though Jones looks like just another bottom 6 guy & the Hawks have plenty can’t really ask for more at this point.

Thanks for playing! Yeah I agree the MTL GM really overpaid on this one in my opinion.

Thanks for playing, yeah there is alot of questionable moves made by the ANA GM. I think he just sent it to full rebuild and a messy one.
