Finally!
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>sabres89</b></div><div>Love the carolina trade. Thats what i would want for ror. Problems- hanifin is gonna get more than 4.5 per. Another problem- and im doing this from memory- but i believe the only rhd on your roster is risto. I dont remember what ruhwedel is, but i think you have him listed as a 7th which is about right either way. I think you would have dahlin and hanifin as your top 2 lhd, leaving you mccabe, guhle, and scandella fighting for 1 spot or being forced to play their off side- which is less than ideal. Mccabe is an nhl d, but probably best slotted as a bottom pair guy on a cheap contract. You can move him, but you wont get much back. Scandella has value, guhle is a fantastic skater that plays a stlye more like housley wants. So you probably end up moving scandella and/or mccabe for a vet rhd. Probably adding nylander or asplund and trying to get tanev or somebody like that. Suddenly it makes more sense. Nelson is a ufa and rhd, so theres that, provided you think he has a future here. I think hutton probably gets more and jvr gets at least that and goes sonewhere else.</div></div>
Not going to lie I forgot about Nelson but he would be ideal over ruhwedel

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>GMTD</b></div><div>OK, I agree, he is not a long term solution, how about a 2 year solution? That is the length of his contract. IMO, Botterill is a very astute GM, I do not see him just cutting Bogosian lose, on the other hand if he did, it would really show what a sad excuse DATM was as GM, a 2nd and 4th for Kane and Bogosian. He gave up a boat load for those 2 and that is all we have when we trade them away. The local sport writers had such bromance with DATM that none of them will write that he is the real reason the Sabres are last over all. DATM brought in losers and unfortunately I think it has contaminated the rest of the team.</div></div>
Murray did do good initially but I think his best trades would have been the ones he made had he not made them, only trade that may have a payoff is the O’Reilly one but big Z looks to be a solid number 3/4 d man now but if only we never met ex gmtm

See being a season ticket holder and seeing bogo on a daily and living around the corner from him, he just doesn’t seem like he will be in our plans long term with the cap hit he has and if he continues to have the issue of staying healthy

That is your vision, not mine, your vision may be better than mine. I looked at your final product and I think it is good and that is all that mattered, we all take different roads to get to the same destination. IMO WAS and ARI would want more, but maybe they would accept it.</div></div>

You are missing Casey Mittelstadt from buffalo who was already named and Eichel has said he will not be participating at the worlds, in my mind you could just swap the two of them

The best deal here would be Kap, Lilejgren, maybe a pick for O’Reilly, we get a top four d man, a future top 6 winger and a pick in the draft

Actually this package is reasonable....would sting from the Leafs point of view and both are seen as long term pieces...but not pillars...same with Buffalo, I believe...doesn't seem you guys view ROR as a pillar which is why I was a little surprised at some of the asks for Nylander/Marner/Reilly</div></div>
Well with out my other comment I would do it and think lilejgren makes our team next year

Also from Buffalo Oreilly has been more of a problem in the locker room compared to everyone else he does nothing before games and only leads by what he does on the ice and he butts heads with eichel who always tries to talk to the guys

Toronto calls and says they're interested. What do you ask for?</div></div>
With out moving a pillar would you do kapanen and lilgren

Clearly no one actually read my description.
I do recognize how valuable ROR is in the draw. Bozak is the leafs’ best faceoff man and we are likely losing him. So I targeted ROR.....who....btw....between him and Johnson painted a dim picture of what’s going on in that locker room. I’ve never heard guys speak out like that. ROR is good...but leafs probably wouldn’t give you marner for eichel at this point.</div></div>
I think the only deal to be made for him would be a 1 for 1 involving either Nylander or Reilly

If nylander takes an 8 year deal it will be for 8 mil or more and same for marner and then Mathews will probably commend 11-12 million if it’s a two year bridge for nylander I can see a 6 mil deal but then you guys will have to pay even more then as the cap goes up again and thus allowing more room for players to demand more

There’s one thing though that no one realizes.... the guy leads the league in draws and would be an immediate boost to your center core and draw winning %60.5 on draws and 60 points and can play all three forward spots is well worth that 7.5 million, and probably save money then from when you have to resign nylander who will more than likely want north of 8 mil

It would have to be Nylander or Marner (preferably Willy) especially because of the Atlantic division rovalry I would do 1 for 1 swap of those to and make a line of Nylander-Mittlestadt-Nylander

Tkachuk and a fourth for O’Reilly and a fifth (leader in face off dot)
1 for 1 hockey deal, we then select Brady fourth overall and slide them both next to Mittlestadt for an all USA line
