2nds is not underselling on Hall. Domi is not as good skill wise, but fits a 3rd line roll better than hall does..
Well there is going to be kids up in the lineup next year, Beecher most fits the shoes of Nosek, and Lohrei im sure will get a look

Upgrade over Gryz and is under term. Bigger size, and would fit very well under Montgomerys system

It’s not actually 2.6 mil they have to pay. Ends up being like 186k because of the money that’s already paid on the contract.

Young teams that lack that experience do that. The bruins are chalk full of guys that have been to cup finals.</div></div>
I like cars too much :tearsofjoy
They are full of vets. But adding another, especially of Toews' CALIBER would only benefit

No need for Connor Garland when Jake will be back and you have no room/ money for him. It's either Chychrun or Gryz and I don't think bruins will be the team to outbid other teams in a deal for him. Carlo is a shut down defensemen who you need.
I like Toews on the bruins a lot

You're not wrong, we don't know how it would work. But adding someone of Toews caliper, with playoff experience and a good chemistry guy, that's what championship teams do at the deadline.

One of the better two way players in the game, he would make this team better and the best top 9 we've probably ever seen.

Don't get me wrong, I love Freddies game. But if you have the chance to add that caliper of player, with playoff experience, you do it. It would absolutely be an upgrade over Freddy (Who could play 4th line just fine)

Foligno loves this team, and is older. I think he would stay to be competitive for a low cost.
Not sure Acari makes a lot more.

I think the bruins are going to do everything in their power to Re-Sign Pasta. No excuse to lose a home grown talent like that who is one of the best players in the entire league. The cap will be a problem but they will have to figure that one out.
Only the Boston Red Sox like to not pay their home grown talent in this city.

Starting Lineups Maybe
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>DefenseFirst</b></div><div>I think there will be a lot of mixing and matching while some of the big guns are out of the lineup. Zacha and Studnicka both getting plenty of time at center and wing etc, but this isn’t bad for what an average night may look like….except for stralman on the top pair. That seems crazy.
Also, don’t think looking solid in some pre-season action is any reason to think Greer, a journeymen about to turn 26, is anything more than that. Don’t think he should break camp with the NHL team. Nosek, Studnicka, Lysell, and Steen at a minimum are all better.</div></div>
GREER ABSOLUTELY deserves a great shot to make this team. Easily the best player on the ice tonight

He's easily been the most noticeable out there tonight! Fast, plays with grit and can shoot the puck. Would be shocked if he didnt get a shot on the 4th line.
