Sammy would be best with Dahlin for his growth. I think for the 6 as a full D unit Sammy would be better with E Johnson. The old McKee Warrener shut down D partners.


I don’t see it with Puli to be honest. Adams would never. He would be a guy I would bring in. But I don’t see KA doing that.

I would like Johnson to work with Sammy on all aspects of game. Hopefully if he is not playing the big Min he can stay healthy all year. Joki had success with Dahls it was just Sabres had no one else so they had to split them up. It is a big year to see what goes on for Joki future.

Puli a change of scenery with a coach that gets the most out of young players may be a win win. He was a 1st overall pick. Plays a good D game and a big body. Worth a shot til Quinn healthy or it doesn’t work out. Good be a gem or a bust. We have the space and room

Let's go over the Hanafin move first, Jokiharju i've seen being thrown around for 3rds on this site by every sabres ACGM I've seen so I'm assuming he's not worth too much, I mean if he was the top-4 d-man on that right side which some believe why would the Sabres invest 6 million into Clifton and Johnson? Seems like they really don't want him playing 21 minutes a night again. I can't see RJ ever being as good as Hanafin is right now or over the next 7-8 years which is what he would be signed to. Rosen has literally zero room to develop in that Sabres system with the million 1st round wingers they have right now playing up and in the system. 26'first is gonna be 16-22 which isn't even a promise to be a full-time nhl player. Going through each piece in this trade obviously if every piece develops to their potential then yeah it's worth more than Hanafin but they aren't going to develop that way in the Sabres system.

What's the plan for UPL right now then? Play him in the minors until Comrie is done? Levi is very clearly the no.1 option here not giving much room for UPL to grow as he should. Obviously worth more than a 4th but how much more is he worth? A 3rd? If you want to hang on to him, fine. But he isn't some sure thing for the sabres.

Is Krebs being traded for a 2nd some bad thing? Do you expect him to be worth a 1st? Yeah he has potential to flourish in a top 6 role but he is never going to get that in Buffalo, trading him for a late 2nd might be the most value the Sabres will ever get out of Krebs.</div></div>

1.) Just sign Hanifan as a ufa next off season and hold on to assets.
2.) UPL showed spurts and with a better D core defensively he will be just fine.
3.) Why would we trade Krebs for a pick. If anything he or other players are going in a package for a big name. As you stated.. we have a ton of Prospects. We are done trading for picks or prospects. Lot of players at Trade Deadline will be available from other teams I can see Adams going after
