I don't follow CBJ so I'm not sure exactly what their strengths and weaknesses are, but I did hear that maybe they'll be looking at moving Provorov at the deadline potentially opening up a spot on LD. I guess it all depends also where CBJ sees themselves in their rebuild. If Jenner really is not available unless its a massive move then probably not worth it.</div></div>

It's hard to say. I think it's starting to make sense to trade Boone since his value should be pretty darn high to a team that's looking for a cheap middle 6 addition that can play hard minutes in the playoffs. I think what they'd prefer to get in return for him if he is available is a player who is in the 20-24 age range that they have contract control with and would fit in well with the guys who look like the future of the team (Fantilli, Jiricek, KJ, Sillinger, Mateychuk, etc.). Knies would be the player I'd want the Jackets to target on the Leafs, but even at 50% retained on Jenner and with something else added in I really doubt Toronto would go for that.

As for Provorov, he should certainly be on the block either this TDL or next, but even without him the Jackets have so many LD futures lined up. Beyond Werenski they've got Bean, Mateychuk, Svozil, Richard, Christiansen, Berni, Knazko, Bjorgvik Holm, Strathmann, Makarov, and Hreschuk in the system. Adding another young name to that list isn't likely to help them much. I'd say one more young player with legitimate top 6 potential is probably their biggest need right now especially since things with Laine have taken such a huge step back this year from what they were hoping he'd be going forward.
