I said "Bruins dont want Oleksiak, and the price for a rental dman like that is a 2nd tops and thats just so im not called a Homer again and again and again",
Zero part of that is snarky lol. and the homer part at the end is just true lol i get called a homer for calling debrusk a top 6 forward
And exactly, if they wanted a top 4 LHD they would gotten one.
Also for your info, bruins are top 10 (maybe even top 5) in goals allowed per game so defense isnt the problem</div></div>
The snarky part was as follows, "as i have said time and time again" .... "I can say it as many times as I need to, I just wish people would start listening lol"

I can say it as many times as I need to, I just wish people would start listening lol</div></div>
Well, I am aware that they do not want to, but I thought you had some "insider knowledge" on Oleksiak. So no need for the "snarky" comment again If they didn't trust their young man something would have been done in the offseason. Now that being said, this dcore isn't gonna win you cup.

If I have learned anything over the last 24 hours, this won't get it done. Value is great, but the sabres want to bring back a Kakko + more to keep the franchise hopeful with a potential star

The idea behind it is, once his NMC kicks in, Eichel requests the trade and SOMEHOW the Bruins beat out a team like the Rangers

What about a 1st and a B+/B prospect for Rakell?

He is skating. Kase doesn't have control on his injury.</div></div>
Look. being an "analytical Darling" is nice and all but this team NEEDS DEPTH SCORING.

Which makes most sense at TDL
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Propeller09</b></div><div>I am not sure how you can say that and then say that you think Debrusk is enough to get Hertl.
Health is certainly a concern for Kase - No doubt, but you said when healthy he isn't a top 6. Interesting because statistically they are almost identical. Kase is cheaper and under team control. They are pretty much the same age as well.
Debrusk played in 13 playoff games and had 4 goals.
Kase played in 11 playoff games and had 4 Assists.
Debrusk has 4pts (1 goal) in his last 16 regular season games.
Kase has 1 pt in 7.5 games with the Bruins.
Kase is also ELITE defensively. JD, not so much.
I get the health thing, and he needs to finish more, but it's there. Thing about stats is they tend to balance out. Yes he is 0 for 26 on SOG since joining the Bruins, but that won't last. He'll go 6/9 over some stretch. He is creating chances. New team, Covid, and injury. I am not willing to call it a mistake. He isn't getting benched. He isn't a empty shirt. He just isn't finishing. Which - JD has 1 goal. One.
If they can get Kase back healthy. It's huge.</div></div>
First, I think Debrusk is a picee in the Hertl deal, hence the 2nd to go with it. And Having someone who is elite defensively but doesn't produce is not what the Bruins need. They need someone not names Marchand Bergeron and Pastrnak to score. They don't have that. With this aging core, they can't wait around for these guys like Debrusk Kase and Bjork to find their scoring touch. They just don't have that time. If they want to win the cup one more time, then they have to sacrifice a piece like Debrusk or Kase or Bjork or Vaak or a 1st to do so. And I think teams see much more potential in Derbsuk than in Kase. Considering the injury risk.

I think Glendening is worth a 4th at most, but because of how valuable he will be to so many teams this year he may just get a second. I.E Barclay Goodrow getting a 1st (cause of term)

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>bhavikp27</b></div><div>Not sure how much RW Hertl has played but I think he has mostly played C in the past years. Anyways, it's not enough for Hertl.
"This gives them a 2 line RW" Bruins have Kase. Same for the Palmieri deal.
Ekholm will depend on what the Bruins can give. Staal sucks, I would play Moore over him. Agreed with Glendening. I'm not of fan of Bennett or Virtanen but one of them could end up being a Bruin so we'll see.</div></div>
Lets face it, Kase deal was a mistake. Bruins took a chance on him and it has not paid off, so it's time to move on. When Kase is in the lineup, he has proven he is not a top 6 forward. But I think moving Debrusk in the Herlt deal will be enough.
