If Jersey takes Kakko
Pretty solid trade for Nylander and Trouba I think. Columbus trade leaves much to be desired though. I don't think Columbus would give up on Murray especially since he has become integral in their blueline this past season.

DETROIT 2019-20 AND A LOT OF TRADES
Zetterberg is retired and on LTIR, what would be the purpose of including his contract on this trade?
Vancouver says no, a trade involving Horvat would start around Athanasiou or possibly Cholowski.

Perhaps he is, however he needs a bridge contract since this was his rookie season and he did do fairly well. Ottawa can't afford to give another first round pick away lol. 3.8 mil is fair in my eyes.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>IrishTiger</b></div><div>There is no way Kasperi Kapanen is going to agree to leave Toronto in favor of a move to Ottawa</div></div>
Toronto might not have the cap space to sign him in the first place. He doesn't have a NMC so it's easier to move the RFA rights.

I'd rather have Stammer then Malkin personally. Pittsburgh hangs up the phone before Tampa has a second thought.

It's not the worst trade I've ever seen, but you're absolutely right. I'd probably start with Hayton, Crouse and a first, or Hayton, Fischer and a first.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>NickC1988</b></div><div>You really can't yet, he's been compared to Kane, and Kane did take some time to become elite as well, but Keller is not a game breaker yet.
Keller's first two seasons: 65 points and then 47
Kane's first two seasons: 72 points and then 70
Keller is just not a star with those numbers, yet.</div></div>
I see that argument. He hasn't really proven himself all the way, but with this lineup I've assembled I feel like that could change next year, in a big way.

Arizona Moves - Playoff Contention
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>BurgerBoss</b></div><div>WSH says no. Vrana's too important to be given away.
I personally like this move. It could benefit both teams. Still I feel like WSH is not willing to do it.
Also I don't think you really need to acquire Åberg. You have players like Archibald or Garland available for that role.
Plus MIN would probably just match that offer.</div></div>
That was my concern, yes, that WSH would still not be willing to give Vrana up. It would have to be a king's ransom to pry him away, however is he wasn't so important I think this trade would get it done. Yes MIN would probably match that offer, but you never know. I feel like Åberg has really proven himself to at least be a middle six forward but he's just been passed around a lot last year for no apparent reason.

That Winnipeg trade is very one sided. Winnipeg is laughing all the way to the bank with that one.

You could argue that Clayton Keller is their superstar, with a supporting cast around him he will flourish and I believe that he will eclipse 80 points, or something close to that.

You're definitely right, Pitts won two cups off that formula. I had wanted to bring some defense into the lineup, as I've been following the Pitts/Isles series fairly close and noticed that the D have been leaving Murray out to dry so often.

I wouldn't even consider for a second trading Stamkos. He is one of the major pillars of that organization. You don't just trade franchise players (unless you're incompetent like Ottawa).

I feel that Hjalmarsson is just a little under the value of Schultz. Schultz plays a mostly offensive game and Pittsburgh can have Letang for that. They need a stay at home blueliner.

I'm not gonna lie... put Giroux on 1st line LW, bring up Voracek on the 2nd line, that top 6 is absolutely NASTY. It's actually not a bad forward group after that.

I would personally play Dvorak at C and Hinostroza on the wing. I also don't think Donskoi would get that much money, perhaps maybe 3-3.5 AAV. Other than that team looks solid.

I figured that the Kapanen trade would be compensation enough to Toronto since the RFA sheet would be giving up a second round pick anyway, so Svech and a 3rd would probably be equal to an offer sheet for Kapanen w/o actually giving up a second. I see where you're coming from with the others as well.

Finally, one person that doesn't make Bob go to Florida for next year.
I think that's on OK trade, I don't think the Kings would accept that trade since Quick is their main guy in net and as far as I'm aware, doesn't have a good goalie prospect coming up. You also have the option to sign Varlamov in free agency, who isn't terrible.

I'd say its an overpayment on MTL side. Suzuki has been phenomenal in junior as of late and Hudon is solid, plus a 2nd round pick for a good prospect and a struggling one. I would just take out the draft pick.

I think that if Edmonton was interested in Vanek they would offer him a contract on July 1st themselves, instead of giving up a second round pick for him.
