He's probably got a handshake deal he's going to sign on Jan 1st. Similar to Kevin "1Mil" Lebanc.

If Laine does indeed get traded I'm sure the Jets will lose that trade, they should be doing everything they can to sign him.</div></div>
Great comment, thanks. Can you comment on a potential return for Connor?

Would Chevy consider trading Connor
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>TanSor</b></div><div>I've always held the stance that GM's are fools if they refuse to listen to offers on any of their players, even the "untouchable" ones. Just because you're listening doesn't mean you're actively shopping, but maybe a team offers you a deal you can't turn down on one of your star players.
Anyways, I don't know enough about Nurse to comment on the trade, but Connor is a damn good player (he has two consecutive 30+ goal seasons as a 22 year old), so the Jets better be getting a king's ransom for him.</div></div>
Very true. I see hundreds of AGM's with Laine trades on here but rarely do I see a Connor trade, so I'm wondering why. Most WPG fans seem to think Laine is more valuable than Connor, so why not trade the less valuable player?

Tough call. Given their contracts, I'd say it's pretty even. You said it in your description: McDavid is the better player, but MacKinnon isn't too far behind at half the price.

Toffoli is a massive upgrade over Martinook. The question is whether the price is worth it.

These teams don’t matchup real well as trade partners. Flames are gonna need Andersson, as good as Kessel is, Andersson is the future on for back end for the Flames

I do like the Zucker trade except I’d rather give someone like Ho-Sang or Bellows who are both ready for the NHL next year IMO. I’m not ready to trade our best players best friend. All the other trades are good and make sense

Agreed. We shouldn't be trading for a TOP6 forward, I'd rather go after one as UFA.

Lindell's not going anywhere. Way too important for us. Our best defensive D by far.

They’ve also indicated they aren’t going to tear down the prospect pool and trade off youth they’ve invested time in to do it. JVR can go sure. Voracek needs to stay. Nothing drastic needs to be done.

Don't like the moves besides Rieder. Potential 20-20 guy for a 5th is fine with me. The other 2 are just big steps backwards. The "new core of young players" you mention in the Jake trade is already here. TK, Patrick, Provy, Myers, Sanheim, Lindblom, Coots, Ghost. Plus you can add Frost, Farabee, Rubtsov in the next couple years.
