Yah, did just for fun... Have NO CLUE what Jack's cost would be but would give yinz a heck of a young Forward group.

Think me &amp; you have argued about Rakell many times bc Ive traded for him like 3,894,751 times on here, lol.

But I really watch almost every Ducks game till 1am here bc Im a fan of a bunch of players, like Whitehall John bc friends w/ his wifes family here in PIT.

But I love the young players there &amp; IMO The Ducks are so underrated per young depth. Also, think Comtois is the best Net Front guy in NHL since Hornqvist.
I would sign him to a 8yr deal right now bc those types are so rare.

This is the kind of comment someone who never played sports makes.
They think age or teaching is what makes people hit. It has nothing to do with that, it's mentality. I've seen little guys run over much bigger guys who are puzz ies at 14 and 15 years old.
If you aren't scared to hit, you'll hit. And when you are 6'3 and 220lbs and your not scared to hit, you're good to go.
We aren't talking about 170lb player here. He's not Sprong getting back checked to the ground or POJ getting shoved around.
This is a kid who plays with an edge and has the size to beat up on people. He's been doing it in the CHL. Like every game up there he's taking a cross checking penalty letting the other team know, hey, get out my way.
But you seem to think every prospect is coming in like Jack Hughes getting run over.
That's just not the case. This mentality needs to go, as it's just tiring and limiting in the NHL. Have you learned nothing from teams continued success with bringing in younger players. From the weeding out of the older players the last few years.
Here are some facts. You aren't finding 6'3 220lbs in a guy with the ability to slot in the to 6 anywhere. It's just not happening. There are no FA like that. The best you can do is trade and no one is trading that unless they have no choice but to. You also don't have forever on this team. It's on borrowed time. 3 of your 4 centers are 34, 35, 37 years old next year.
What the hell is the point on waiting anymore. You won't have anything to build with in 1-2 years. You'll just be a rebuilding team....but it's ok Poulin will save us then. FFS want to talk about wasting a career. It will go to waste here as the team is in rebuild for basically all of it. If they are to get anything out of him, it's now.</div></div>
