Flyers say no. Big time No. Braun can get the Flyers a 2nd in a perfect world so why would they pay a 3rd to take barrie. And some meh.

complete and utter nonsense
Personally I think Braun could net the Flyers a 2nd. So that trade Flyers lose value. And Brassard probably gets a 4th or 5th. Potentially a 3rd if he plays really well the next few games.
I would not give any team a 3rd rounder to move JVR.
I personally think MacEwen will be a flyer next year so not sure they will move him at the Deadline.

I don't disagree with that assessment i think if its a 2 year deal he is going to be looking for 7.5 or more. Which is deserved.

Thompson would probably be a 5th or 6th for the desperate teams and a 6th or 7th from those just looking for a healthy scratch for playoff time.

TK would probably be a 1st and A/B prospect at the least. Still on a really affordable contract.

Flyers Decline. Not sure in the cap situation the flyers have with off season signings and such but adding 6+ mil to the cap is not benificial when they have so many holes. Coots and Farabee have extensions going into place next year.

With Chucks Head on a platter right now if he gives up a 1st round pick in what may be the most important draft if we (flyers) tank youre crazy. They will most likely have a top 10 pick next season. We will trade you a 3rd round pick for him at most.

If G is in the deal with braun that pick goes to a 2nd not a 5th. I think the flyers could get a 2nd for him anywhere that needs him, and a 1st, prospect and player seems to be the estimate for Giroux.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>evelutions2</b></div><div>There is a very definite difference between Risto and DeAngelo. DeAngelo is the better player, and also was able to be signed on a low risk high reward contract. That isn’t the case with Risto, who would be more comparable to Zadorov than to DeAngelo. Risto went to Philly on a massive overpayment, and the Canes won’t make that same mistake. Gardiner being LTIRetired is very valuable to the Canes, and he won’t be just a throw in.</div></div>
As a flyers fan I agree. Not sure Risto can pull more than a 2nd and B prospect.
I do not think the Red Wings accept either. Same with the Kings. I think the Kings deal is fair just not sure why they would groom this kid for Sanheim even though sanheim would be worth the return

Sadly for the Av's sake i think Giroux resigns in Philly if its for that price tag. This TDL has the gut feeling of G going to try and win a cup and just coming back on a minor discount.

Not to mention those picks could very well be close together. if philly tanks in 2023. The rangers should still be in the almost elite tier bracket for the stanley cup.

I dont think the Flyers should be in the market for petry, With the beezer and coots extensions kicking in we cant afford petry to play second or third line RD.
But yeah foerester is off the table for sure.

Not Super sure. The expansion team has to be over the cap floor so this may help them bump over that level.

I figure in the 2020 season Ghost gets a bit more play time. But yeah I agree I shouldve flopped the picks to have chicago get a 3rd with ghost.
As for Kyle. If nolan has a solid 2020 and plays. I would rework this trade anyway and keep patrick and give up a few 1sts instead. I think Brink is a solid prospect and a Voracek def plays into the style of the Jets. Shocked the jets havent pursued him personally. (Strong with the puck)

I think Alex Edler is an interesting name, a cheaper, vet option, who can play in all scenarios and knows AV's system. However again, due to this age, wouldn't go more than 3 years</div></div>
That's what I based it on. If not the ideal signings for me is Tyler Myers and Going hard after Panarin (I think he will go to Florida)

You don't trade that for a big ? like a late 1st or and 2nd and beyond draft pick.</div></div>
I Do not disagree with that. But when your upgrade is Marner in this scenario. I will have no hard feelings moving on From TK. I needed to stay under the cap. Already moved gudas and there are not many more players on the flyers outside of jake and JVR that I would move. I do agree with Roux when he said 2nd and a prospect. I do not think a team would throw a mid to low first at the flyers at all. He still makes a ton of puck handling and passing mistakes (because he is young) and scored most of his goals while on the G Coots line. Or with Coots and JVR. The team trading with him to get similar production he would probably need similar linemates.

Then What do you think his value is? I do agree maybe I underestimated what the market would give him in terms of picks back but I do not think that he is worth a 1st by any means. Only reason I cap dumped him in this was because of the difficulty it would be to trade Jakes contract or JVR after last season and their current contracts.

I Like the Brock Nelson Signing. Especially if Duchene goes to the Panthers or Team X. I Personally don't think we can get a 2nd for Hagg. But If we can hell yeah pull that trigger.
