Yeah, I don't care what Columbus wants or needs. T is either the goalie we go after or a different one.

You have to start building with players who have been to the cup. Manson gives the Habs that Veteran with Cup experience and is at a reasonable price.

Keep dreaming. MTL is atleast 2 years away and need a veteran at a decent price. it is how the Avs won the cup. You will do it.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>TJTwolf</b></div><div>Most of that makes little sense. The Avs don't need to trade for a back up, they have Annunen for that. Therefore they keep Colton who is cheaper than Domi and better. Walker you are paying too much and the Avs don't trade Manson to replace him with a weaker RHD. That's aside from Manson not waiving for Canada and MTL not likely wanting Manson. Wood is worth more than a 6th and there's no reason you can't keep him when the other silly moves are scrapped and there's more money then for Mitts if necessary as he might sign that shorter term but not for that length. Trenin also likely wants and gets a raise.</div></div>
T isnt' a backup. As I see it he beats Georgie for number 1. Walker isn't manson's replacement. Xhekaj is. Yes I had to over pay for Walker. I like him and was willing to go higher. The Avs have to get cheaper. Evans and X fill holes. I like Colton and Wood but they have to go for Salary space.

Most of the sites I looked at have him around 6mil. I figured the 6 years contract entices to take a little less. Its ok you think different. I was going with the average of what I found on the internet. He may want more but he is an RFA. The deal could be a bridge also.

I disagree totally. Walker has shown that he is better then Girard. His ability to control and step up is a leg up on Girard. I would rather have walker then Girard. And your not factoring the Mits part. I sign Mits over walker. If I need the money have to trade Girard and not sign walker. I will say again Girard was cap space for Walker and Mits.

Sorry you don't know hockey. The heat maps say we need help in front of the net and we need help in the net. Our 2C is filled. Allen is the best 1B out there. Monahan has experience with Lekky and Drouin. We have severe cap space issues and someone has to go to make room. I don't want to loose Bo so Girard has to go.

No but yes - Fleury has nowhere near that kind of value but he'd be nice to have as a backup
Fine, I guess - Seeler would be good insurance to have but I bet the Flyers would rather have a pick</div></div>
Val is unreliable. if it isn't Arizona it's somebody else. Mansion is replacable. Fleury's experience makes him valuable. Georgie needs a back why not a 1a/1b. Fine on Seeler. I think he is servicable and gives the Avs a better shotblocker then mansion and I'm hopping takes less stupid penalties. We are on the clock with MAC/RANT/MAKAR. We can't waste anymore years.

Turning their backs? I wish him all the best but the dude leaves at the team at the worst possible time two straight seasons. We are on the clock with our 3 best players and the salary cap is going to make it impossible to succeed after this season. Hockey is tough that way.

Zegras is a mid level play maker. it isn't worth what you think he is. Girard is a Cap healthy second tier D man. Puck mover. Actually this was a nice to have but your probably right.

I disagree. This year has proven, some players will take less. I think as time goes on if the players are available and teams are patient prices will come down. I'm not showing a now price tage on these players. If the early training starts the players are going to take less to make certain they are on the ice or they will not get paid next year.

I disagree. My Dubie trade is at the Draft and Peg gets a 1st. that is more then they will get from anyone else. In Frankie they get a 1B goalie they need at a reasonable price. Girard is a durable top middle Dman. Don't try to tell me different. Peg needs D scoring.
