The Edmonton Oilers will never trade McDavid, it wishful thinking for the Maple Leafs fans. I don't blame the JKCPP that wanted to happen.

The Stanley Cup Champion
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>ChevelsDayOff</b></div><div>im not totally convinced that’s a champion team. the top 6 is obviously deadly and the bottom 6 is decent. theres some good players on the blue line but half them are quite young and the older players don’t have an elite talent like we’ve seen in previous champs. similarly the goaltending is extremely questionable, im not sure either one of them has even started in the playoffs before
not to mention there’s no depth in case of an injury, which is wishful thinking
prob still make it to conference finals on talent alone</div></div>
Thank, for your opinion, my thought too about the roster.

Anaheim Ducks 10
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>GiggywithGibby</b></div><div>Hey man, welcome to trying Anaheim out. Here's some feedback on the roster you put together.
Anaheim does not need to aign any outside centers, so Compher and Domi are not necessary. Lundestrom is a quite skilled player, he just had no points last year because as our 3C, we rarely left our zone, and when he did skate the puck to the other end, no one went with him.
Graves and Soucy are good D pickups, Clifton is not needed, and 3 million is too much for a bottom pairing guy. You also didn't sign Drysdale.
Your RFA contracts are a bit all over the place, I would recommend referencing some other Anaheim ACGMs for context. Terry and Zegras are going to be in the 7-8 AAV range on long term deals, Comtois only gets his QO, if he gets anything.</div></div>
Thank for your opinion, as I looked at the roster, you are absolutely right.

Too much for Howden. I can’t see him about 2.175.
Nolan Patrick hasn’t played hockey in almost 2 years, there’s a really good chance he never plays again, but in the case he DOES play he’s going to get a league minimum contract…</div></div>
I never thought that about Nolan Patrick and Adin Hill for money...

As you know that the Maple Leaf have a good season with this roster, also adding to stronger defencemen could make the different. By this roster Toronto have another good chance to win the Stanley Cup next season maybe even the odd are in Leafs favour.

When constructing ACGM's, it's important to re-sign your RFA's. You left out not just Evan Bouchard but also Klim Kostin and Ryan McLeod, all of whom should be important players for the Oilers this year (and probably several more).</div></div>

I think I remember watching a video how a horrendous former Leafs' owner ~ was probably him. But, yeah I'm about 12 years removed from his passing.
Also, yeah I understand quarrels with players for seemingly obscure reasons.
I'm also real excited for this draft; although Detroit doesn't have 5OA; 9+17 is still a good consolation.</div></div>
I believe you are right about Detroit.

I am new here, like I said to other guys, still learning my mistake and eventually it will take time to be a realistic, decent manager. Hopefully down the road everyone will like my roster. Can't wait next NHL Draft, hopefully something exciting good or whoa wow coming out of it.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>JoeROFLCOPTER</b></div><div>Hopefully! Think the biggest issue I've gathered (from both Detroit's and Chicago's build) is that you're trying to get to the cap ceiling when, in reality, sometimes it's better to just be just above the cap floor.
Signings like this will prevent extensions for Seider (9M+) and Raymond (6M+). Length of contract requires just as much consideration as the actual AAV. Then you gotta worry about other prospects in 3 something years, blahblahblah.

Obviously I assume you're not touching trades for a reason, but once you get far enough in your learning, you'll acquire it -- realistic trades can change a team's perspective so much. Something like Detroit; their entire trajectory could change just by acquiring two star players with assets that aren't even on the roster.
Not to say it's wise to do that, but, trades are like toying with Pandora's box.
As for yourself; a wee-bit surprising, but certainly not outrageous. I'm a little too young to know those names, but, each person has their reasons. Obviously, I'm a Detroit fan as I am from the area, but I'm also a Sabres as my father is from that area. It's more of a 1A Detroit, 2B Sabres.</div></div>

This FA class reeks; we need to sign players, but these contracts are a bit extreme. The lineups could use some work and more consideration -- Raymond and Seider are topline guys. But also, if Kasper is at 4C, only getting 11-12 minutes a game, it's better he gets sent to GR to get 20+ minutes a game.</div></div>
Yes, I am still new, no worry about the harshness, I love to learn my mistake it will take time to be a realistic manager. In 6 month time, everyone would love my roster (hopefully).
About myself, all my life I am a big habs fan, second is the Sabres, I live in Toronto never a Leaf fan, lol why? two names, Harold Ballard and Eddie Shack. Yep! Sad....
