I'm tempted to say Iginla & Jagr, but I can't find when Neal would have played with Jagr.

Bad contract dance
As a sharks fan I'm torn, on paper that's actually a good deal for the sharks and the oilers, But Burns is a fan favorite and a poster boy for the sharks. He is still playing at a high level (though not quite the same Elite level he was 2-3 years ago to be honest).
If this were to happen I wouldn't be upset, but I wouldn't love it either because we lose another sharks legend.

He hasn't played much in the NHL so I don't have a full impression on him but in the games he played he's been solid.
Good size, reach, and board play I think he turns into a top 4 shut down dman.

Spreading the talent
It's funny how in the English language, taking something with a pinch of salt and becoming very salty about it mean the opposites, yet sound alike.
I wonder which one will happen here: do people take this with the salt or are they going to be extremely salty...

Just the size/skating combo, he will be a player. Just unclear what he becomes once fully developed.
He has struggled getting shots on net from the point. And there was some talk not long ago about playing him at RD when in front of the net because of his size and reach. It’s mostly finishing touches in AHL. He has already seen some NHL time.
My guess is that he becomes middle-pair, defensive LD/RD. Not expecting a ton in terms of point production.

Roy is very valuable to the Golden Knights, although I'm not sure if they manage to keep him around when Eichel is ready to play, maybe unloading Dadonov, letting go of Smith and McNabb is enough space for them to re-sign both him and Hague

Nylander
Being a late 2nd, it will probably just do the trick. I still hold out that he is not a bust though because we haven't seen enough of him in the NHL, I think the team should probably take that and let him return home and try their hand at another prospect.

Leddy would likely be an upgrade. I don't see the Blues too much. I just can't see St. Louis giving up a 1st for Leddy but you never know. If Ben Chiarot is the prized rental Defenseman, maybe Giordano too, then Leddy should get a decent return.

Patrick is too risky to trade Zadina for him. Price is right for Gagner. Can't see Blues making that trade. They likely view Scandella as good or better than Leddy. Not giving up a 1st on top of it. I'm with you on the Namestnikov trade. Don't be surprised if Tampa is interested in him as well.

Flames - underpay, probably need more value going out
Wings - overpay? More unnecessary for their direction
Panthers - pretty fair, maybe a bit underpay
Wild - fair but unnecessary, they dont need defense
Islanders - underpay, no real value here besides Beau and he doesnt help AZ
Rangers - Fair? Depends where you value Kakko imo, could go either way
Blues - underpay, SP is a nice prospect but no where near JC
Leafs - fair, Robertson has kinda fallen off a bit since his initial hype so this seems fine
Jets - fair, maybe a bit overpay

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>sabresparaavida</b></div><div>Sabres probably decline. And if it’s such a steal for Buffalo why the hell would you want to make the trade? And better how? Thompson has as many goals as Dube has points this year. <strong>Yup! and he is only 9 months older than Dube.</strong></div></div> <div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Twins1568</b></div><div>Is Nylander officialy a bust? <strong>Yes he is and Botterill did great to get anything for him, but Jokiharju was a steal.</strong></div></div> Zadorov is a player the Sabres could use, they are very soft and the Rangers took advantage of that the other night.
Hägg is playing really well and Zadorov would not make a significant upgrade.
We know Zadorov has the value of a third, Hägg about a 5th or even a 4th to a team looking for an inexpensive LHD who can hit.
The first is nice, but it will be late so it has the value of a very good second.
Zadorov will not be needed next year when Power, Samuelsson and Bryson will vie for the last 2 LHD spots.
Finally, Thompson has demonstrated the ability to perform well for the past 4 seasons.
First in Rochester starting in 2018-'19 and 2019-'20 when he scored 14 goals in 27 games.
When he was recalled in early 2019 he was hurt and could not demonstrate he was ready.
Last year, Krueger handcuffed him, but once Granato was appointed HC, Thompson responded with 7 goals in the last 23 games.
This year he is on pace to 30 goals (10 in 27 games or 1/3 of the season)
You need to watch Thompson play, the best description of his performance was made by my son, <strong>"You know when he is on the ice."</strong>
He is perpetual motion, fast, strong, long reach, hard shot, unselfish, works hard.
<strong>I would pass on this trade, I think Thompson will flourish playing for Granato.</strong>

I wouldn't say so no. He missed a year and is being given top line minutes in RFD to get his confidence and health back up. I am hoping to see him back in the NHL in the coming months. If he is not playing NHL next year then I would say he is a bust yes.
