Holloway alone is enough. Hes having a hard time right now coming back from his injury, but he could still become a Anderson-lite speedy physical winger to play with Caufield and Suzuki longterm

Take out Thompson and Poehling
2nd + Mete I'd consider. Mete is our 7D and he's pretty valuable to us because he can step right in if there's an injury. Getting Hall would be big though so I wouldn't be opposed to the trade.

The habs do have plenty of draft stock to spare, mete may also fit in to such a deal

you people have short memories , Yzerman had tony the tiger in tampa when he was GM there and let him go because he didn't like his attitude then, he is not going to require someone he let go for nothing and the rest of your trades are laughable at best, yzerman is not stupid

Habs
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Vachon23</b></div><div>I'm not the biggest fan of Kulak but he's still better then Boroweicki/Tinordi and probably Benning and Weal would give you depth what won't hurt you. You probably kn ow your team better then I but your getting the 2 best player on that trade and you guys have the cap space to make this move</div></div>
I wasn't in love with the Borowiecki signing (one year at $1.5M would have been ideal for me), but the Preds targeted him specifically because he has qualities they felt the team was lacking. Tinordi isn't much of a player, but I'm fine with him for the AHL. He's Milwaukee's captain, so he seems to have some leadership qualities the organization values, and he can protect some of the smaller, skilled prospects. Even as an AHL level defenseman, he's not much of a player though. The Preds have more than enough bottom of the roster depth already, and there won't be a lot of spots for young players to try and break in as it is. Adding Kulak and Weal just complicates that. Neither player makes an unreasonable amount, but why add any salary without having a real need to? NSH made a lot of moves to carve out all that space. If MTL wanted to send picks/prospects to NSH for taking Kulak and Weal, that'd be one thing, but there isn't any benefit to NSH in making this trade.

Meier to MTL Blockbuster Rakell to SJ and Haula and Rutta Signings
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>bishopsdad</b></div><div>Meier is gonna get a 10m plus qualifying offer in a couple years, which isn't going to work with the Hab's cap structure. Sorry!</div></div>
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Kotkaniemi15</b></div><div>We can’t afford Meier right now, and we definitely can’t afford his $10 million QO. The habs reject.</div></div>
Just because Meier's QO at the end of the contract in 3 seasons is 10mil DOESN'T mean he's getting 10mil.
If Meier produces in the ballpark of a 10mil player, his starting QO will be 10mil.
If Meier produces as the 6-7mil player he plays as and is worth currently he'll get an offer from SJ/MTL for 6-7mil and if he likes the team/his role, he'll sign for that much. If he likes the team/his role but not too much to the point that he's willing to become a UFA if not qualified at the 10mil bc he thinks he can get 8mil elsewhere, the team can resign him either at 8mil or match an offer that another team gives when he becomes a UFA if he really gets an offer at 8mil.
If he doesn't like the team/his role, he becomes a UFA and signs for 6-7mil elsewhere.
