That's a hell no on the shark trade.
Meier is a fine player, but the is way to much to give up for him. Also love Reimer, but he has had his shot here, I have no interest in bringing him back.

Also SociallyHawkward, I enjoyed chatting with you as well, I hope you come out for more of my breaking up the band trade, even when they don't involve the Hawks.

Yeah I realized that now, but I'm not making changes. I really just came here tonight because it's been a tough go in real life atm. I needed people to talk hockey with.
You may not like my trade, but I've enjoyed this little banter back and forth. I won't entertain the trolls, I have no time for that, but you sir I will talk hockey anytime, have a great night

I'm a leaf fan and I don't like these trades, none of these are fixing the problems with this team, it's just plugging up more holes in the boat.

Domi+Jones and i got news for you, Chicago isn't trading a 2023 1st round pick that could land them Connor Bedard.</div></div>
The Blackhawks pick this year year would obviously be lottery protected.
Also it's not so much about the players I choose for Marner but the package. Which I mentioned
It's
2 1st
Top 6 winger
Top 4 D( but like a really good top 4 D, not a guy like Holl)
Top grade A prospect

I'm not even going to try and have a reasonable conversation with you. Anyone who calling Marner a overpaid ccomplimentary player is just clearly trying to troll

And there's no way that Kyle Davidson is eating $16,000,000 on Seth Jones for the next 8 years.</div></div>
I will agree to disagree, I think that Marner should be the first player move. Again this is nothing against Marner, I think he is a hell of a hockey player, but the goal win the cup. Sometimes you have to move you're best player.

Hawks have a lot of depth defense prospects. 1 high end D prospect in korchinski. Hawks have maybe 3 forward prospects all together. They just traded debrincat who is arguably just as good as marner. No they would never even think about this deal.</div></div>
You are right I don't know much about the Hawks. They were honestly the first team I choose. Also Marner is a borderline line superstar in the nhl
debrincat is a great player but he is not on Mariners level.

Did you even read anything. Also I know the Hawks are rebuilding, but even a rebuilding team needs good player. Also Marner is only 25 he still has a lot of hockey left. Also the Hawks have a ton of picks a a deep prospect pool do they could give that up and it wouldn't put a dent in their future. And they will be getting a great package for Kane.

Healthy D group Plus how I would set the lines
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>palhal</b></div><div>Leafs forwards generally are pretty versatile , so injuries will play a factor on who plays with who. Agree with you about Nylander playing best with Matthews, but don't think Bunting/Matthews/Matthews can be broken up.
I'll never understand the love for Muzzin, It's 2022, and Muzzin has been worse Leaf Dman the season. Yea, I hope he's good enough to be top 6 Dman for the Leafs.....if he's deserving. But the fact that he has a big $$$$$ contract and has been a good NHL Dman for 10 years shouldn't ensure him a spot a in the lineup</div></div>
I actually agree with you on Muzzin, but he deserves a shot at his roster spot after his injury, but if he doesn't show improvement, I would switch him back out with Holl.

Man I didn't even see that trade, why the Hell would the leafs give up Kampf for free. Kampf is the prefect 3rd line center for the leafs. He has had great season. I don't care about is offense, he wasn't brought in for that

I'm not even going to comment on the trades, first off Muzzin is not a top pairing guy. 2nd off Muzzin can't play the right side, some left shot D can play on the right side Like Brodie, but Muzzin is not one of them.

But you are correct, I don't have much faith in the Marlies....especially long term.</div></div>
I was hard on Holl at the start of the season, him and Muzz did not look great together. But Holl has look decent most nights since Muzzin had been out.
Liljegren ive always liked, and Gio has taken him under his wing and has really helped him in these 4 games already.
As for Dermott I wish him all the best, I think a change of teams will be good for him.

I get how helpful it can be to a team to get to the cap floor, but it is not helpful to a team who is maxed out. The Webber contact is a hard pass for the leafs.
