Sources are saying this is exactly what will happen
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Yote827</b></div><div>I agree, that would be the bones. I think the thing that's tough with the Canes is that any 1st rounder is likely gonna be in the back of the 1st round like (26-32 range) just because of how good they are, so maybe you have to up the prospect or add another prospect to compensate for that. Drury is a top 5 prospect from the Canes system so he's definitely a real piece and I as a Yotes fan would understand that Morrow and Nikishin are too rich for Schmaltz. So maybe it's 23 1st, Drury and then any of Blake/Gunler/Honka</div></div>
Of those three I’d rather include Honka but would be happy to do so. Also had a 3rd in there too which I think they’d be fine including.

Were Too Good
I would not be opposed to 'Ghost' as an option to add at the TDL, but that price will be too steep. Not using a 1st for that trade. And we won't move a goalie out without one coming in so no help with the cap there. Not sure we'll be able to afford that luxury as our cap space will be tight. Maybe move some other salary out. I wouldn't rule out the possibility but chances might be slim at the moment. It's not our top need. A nice-to-have.

I don't think the value is crazy but I can't see yzerman doing it. You could talk me into it, I'm not as high on edvinsson as most people are.

I would accept that offer as the Los Angeles GM, but we tend to spread multi-pick deals out over two years.

I would accept this if it seemed like Quick was aiming to retire after this season.

Imagine if Eichel made 5M and didn't have a broken neck that the team absurdly botched his treatment on

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>OrganizedConfusion55</b></div><div>3 1st round picks, the first pick of the 2nd round, another 2nd, and a top 15 goalie prospect for a 5th lhd?
We are good. We need a rhd.</div></div>
go get one then
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>wojme</b></div><div>Way too much</div></div>
Rosén and Kulich have very little "value" to AZU so not worth the same to them as it is "to you" regardless of where they were drafted in the past.
Buff is so mismanaged and Sabres fans evaluate their team building process as if they have a cup final team right now.
We'll see who's more competitive in the next 2 years of Chychrun's deal.

Seeing a thread that has the Yotes retaining on two contracts, one for 3 years and one for 5 years, is the hilarious stuff that keeps bringing me back here :tearsofjoy

Dump town and remaining awful for Bedard
Take out McDonough in the Canucks trade and it's a deal. Their new management actually views Poolman as an asset as oppose to a liability if he gets healthy

Would Arizona consider this
Seeing how the current system works, Arizona is practically guaranteed Bedard and Michkov, if not Fantilli at 3rd. Those top 2 are better than Wright, and Fantilli wouldn’t be far behind. They certainly aren’t giving up Cooley + Bedard/Michkov/Fantilli for Wright

Injury prone =/= permanently on LTIR. If Arizona wants to make the cap floor they can get a way better deal by taking on someone like Seabrook

Offseason
If he returns, Bergeron probably signs for less and since it's a 35+ contract, BOS can sign him to a lower cap hit and put the rest of the money in performance bonuses.
The Schmaltz trade is bad for the Coyotes and does Hayton even play RW? Coyle won't waive his clause. Frederic and Foligno shouldn't be regulars let alone be on the 3rd line. Forward group isn't good enough.

Picks are on the wrong side of that Arizona deal, you're better off finding a hockey trade for barrie than attaching him to the donkey Kassian contract
