Rangers never lock a guy up long-term after his ELC expires. It is ALWAYS a bridge deal. Miller will get the same. His game regressed after he spit on Doughty.

How do they afford a $2.5M per year fourth-liner with no 2C? Isles did the overpay the fourth line thing. It is not intelligent. You get those guys cheap.

Eichel White
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Book_Hockey</b></div><div>Need someone to put the puck in the net
And who is that? Buch? The guy who's career high is 21 goals? He's not a good enough piece for an Eichel trade to be centered around. Chytil hasn't done much, although he could be a good 2C. Schneider is a good prospect but nothing outstanding. 15 overall in this draft doesn't go very far. Just an underwhelming package...it's incredible how people think Eichel's value has fallen that much.</div></div>
Buchnevich, the same guy who is 26 and can play even strength on a top line, play PP, kill penalties? He doesn't have enough value for you? Chytil? A guy that averaged over a half a point per last year with no PP ice time and extremely limited even strength time? Schneider isn't anything special? You sure about that one, scout? The guy just took home the Hunter Trophy for best d-man in the NHL and skated with Canada at the World's. You are out of your mind man, and no offense, but the comments you just made in assessing these guys show me you aren't as familiar with these guys as you try to show.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Sagecoll</b></div><div>yeah this ain't it. Swap Kravtsov + 2nd for Kakko, Miller for Trouba. Chytil for Pajuniemi or Strome
Kakko + Trouba + Pajuniemi (or Strome) + 2021 1st for Eichel. It's even cap wise, and better for Rangers in terms of positional depth.</div></div>
Pajuniemi over Chytil? The Sabres would most certainly want a potential top-6 C with the speed and hands Chytil has over Pajuniemi. Pajuniemi has more developing to do, and even then he probably is still a bottom-6 forward. Strome going for cap purposes, fine, but like I told others, this is for 2021-22. This isn't for this offseason. The flat cap makes it basically impossible for this year. Trouba would have to be moved before the NMC kicks in because I doubt he goes to Buffalo. With the whole pause thing and his original NMC kicking in in July, I am not sure what the league plans to do with that knowing games will be going on into October.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Xqb15</b></div><div>That’s an easy no for BUF. It starts with Kakko and this years first not next year when you have the benefit of Eichel for the year and the pick is in the 20’s, then add at least 2 high quality pieces.</div></div>
This was done for the year 2021-22, so next year.

I don't see how it's a very bad deal. It may need a bit more in terms of value, but he's not returning a McDavid haul. That's four first round picks and a second that can turn into fifth first round pick. Kravtsov, Miller, Chytil, those are all guys with top-6 upside or top-4 d upside. Sure, you can throw in another lottery ticket prospect, but that's up to BUF.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>MaxDomi13</b></div><div>16 561 111 in buyout penalties... ouch.</div></div>
If the cap doesn't increase, how do they afford two guys who haven't even hit their primes yet? They can't keep a 39-year-old goalie around and a 34-year-old defender with no mobility. Every team in hockey will be hit with the repercussions of the virus.

Yea, from other posts, you clearly have a bone to pick with this franchise. You may have watched one Rangers game all year, although, I can bet you probably watched none after what you're rambling off. Strome for two years has been a guy that can be deployed in every situation and has earned the club's trust. DeAngelo was a first-round pick for a reason. It took three teams but he has finally figured it out. His defensive deficiencies are so overblown it's absurd. Get him a solid stay at home partner (many of them are coming up through the pipeline) and he will be fine. Staal is approaching his mid-30s now. Right, so let two solid players walk for nothing. That's why your team is rolling the dice on two first-round picks saving your franchise and guys are leaving left and right. Unreal.

WPG, NSH, SJ, could see a team out west needing a Zucc come playoff time to boost scoring. The idea is accurate though, Zucc and Hayes SHOULD fetch the NYR a 1st each.

The second line and first line are basically interchangeable. That’s what you’re worried about? Panarin-Chytil-Kravtsov is still going to get tons of mins out there, plus the PP time for Panarin. League speculation is he wants the NYR. We will see.

Hagelin wouldn't be leaving the Rangers at that price, they would easily match that, and MDZ has a chance to make 3.5+ on this market.

Easily the KHL, you got Russian kids playing against adults as young as 17.
