I love Nylander. I actually like the trade. The only issue is John Marino has been a godsend for the Devils blue line and is the shutdown dman this franchise badly needed if they wanted to have meaningful games.

It's not just league minimum, it's a two-way league minimum. ... That said, there's no way this players survives being waived. 14 games is a small sample size, but 8 points over that time is easily enough to take a risk on, if he is waived.

I have no words. The only way NJ ships out Bratt in a trade like this is if they're the ones getting Tkachuk. Why on earth is Jesper Bratt, a player that just broke out at age 23 and is an rfa worth one year of 30 yr old Tarasenko and a third? This is horrible
