<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>beantownboy17</b></div><div>Every team in the league is interested in Carlo. He's "the most boring defenseman in the league" to quote an article from a few years ago. He's on the ice for the fewest goals scored by both teams which, on a team with another competent offensive defenseman, is very welcome. Plus he's entering his prime as a defender on an amazing contract. Guys like him don't get crazy returns because of the lack of offensive upside, but that package doesn't get him. Mittelstadt or Krebs, an A- prospect like Ostlund or Rosen , and a 2nd. A 1st if the prospect is lesser.</div></div> <div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>JLance</b></div><div>Jokiharju, Rosen, conditional 1st makes a lot of sense to me from how the Sabres want to form their team. Mittelstadt is far from untouchable but they need Savoie, Benson and Kulich to mature before trading him without an offensive return.</div></div> <div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>mokumboi</b></div><div>Are you kidding? They take that and run away laughing.</div></div> Carlo is greatly under-rated and earlier this year, nearly every Sabre ACGM wanted to send Casey to the moon.
Jokiharju is still underappreciated in Buffalo but Granato plays him 21 minutes so he out ranks ALL Buffalo ACGM's.
The trade above is still tilted a bit Boston, but it is really close.
<strong>Boston</strong> gets a center to play between Marchand and Pasternak and 24 yo RHD who has 5 years of NHL experience while playing over 21 minutes per night the last two seasons.
With the retention Boston fills out the 23 player roster and still is $500,000 under the cap.
<strong>Buffalo</strong> gets a solid NHL defender who along with Clifton plus Dahlin and Power maturing would be a huge upgrade over last year.
<strong>Sweeney</strong> probably does not want to move Carlo at this point as he is priced right, RHD and the Bruins #1 PK D-man.
Buffalo probably does not want to move Casey as he gives Buffalo great depth at center.
Remember he stepped up to the top line and over the last 11 games registered 17 pts.
Imagine what he could do with Marchand and Pasternak.

Krebs, Rosen, and a 2nd for Carlo would be a dream for Buffalo IMO, as Buffalo keeps Casey and Henri.
I doubt Sweeney would accept that deal.
