Maroon every July to agent “get me anywhere, play for a bit, mentor, then get me traded to a cup contender… don’t care about salary… just want cups”.
- Probably.

The fact Minnesota got an actual decent young player for Maroon makes them the winners here.

Wild are adding Toporowski! He played with Adam Beckman in Spokane. A little reunion in Minnesota.

I know, I was bummed when I saw we gave up more than just the pick. Hope Toporowski gets a chance to crack the roster for you guys!

Never seen conditions on a pick if a player never plays in the playoffs lol 😂. My question is if patt plays one game and gets suspended mid game is it a game??

Something Toronto should've done. Instead they paid higher draft picks for worse players.

Minnesota turned a 2024 7th into a couple of prospects + a likely 2026 6th.

They get my vote.

No one would call W. Butcher a prospect anymore, he'll Ufa this summer.

Good for Maroon - another cup run. Good for Boston, He'll help the 4th line in the Playoffs the games he plays. Great for MN, turning a 7th into Maroon on the cheap for as long as they needed him, 2 prospects and a 6th.

As I stated before, Minne did not end up with 2 prospects with the deals involving Maroon, the Tbay prospect got traded away for Will "I'm a 27 yr old Ahler" Butcher.

The prospect I was referring to was Cajkovic, not Butcher.

I was only looking at the last two trades for Maroon and nothing else.

Because that's what's relevant to Minnesota's asset management on Maroon.

But ultimately, this trade is a nothingburger.
