I expect they would both receive better deals elsewhere, Nosek especially needs to cash in on the career year he's having. Wouldn't be shocked if a team gave him 3C money which I don't think the Knights can afford. I'm sure they would love to have both back but I don't think it's feasible

Would you consider this if you are Tampa
I would probably take that if I were Seattle. May take another asset instead of the 3rd, would they prefer a 1st and Joseph? Who knows.
Tampa should lean towards making this deal with Seattle rather than Detroit because if they send Johnson to Detroit it simply means they lose another player to Seattle, however multiple moves will likely be necessary in order for them to become cap-compliant.

Three Trade Options for the Top 6
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Claesson4Norris</b></div><div>I'd be asking for a 1st. He's a really versatile player on a really fair contract. The team clearly values him very highly, they probably wouldn't part with him for cheap.</div></div>
I think I'd be happy with Jones and a 2nd for Brown. Yes he's versatile but he likely won't be around past this contract. Jones becomes the Sens #2 LD today and could be a solid #3 LD down the road behind Sanderson and Chabot.

However I will add that TOR no longer needs Ellis given they signed Brodie and with how well Holl is doing. But trading for Ellis was something I wish they had done in the offseason

I would not consider using picks or prospects to get Seattle to take Neal.</div></div>
Offering up Nurse to take Neal on is a dangerous but interesting idea. Would definitely give Holland a lot of cap flexibility

meant this year obviously as you can see it is the 2020-21 roster. Been making "next year" rosters all off-season so it came up as an autofill option.

I for one am FINE if Stuetzle remains unsigned for this shortened season. I know most disagree but... I'd much rather lock down a top 5 draft pick and not burn a year off his ELC.</div></div>
I completely agree on Stuetzle, I think the team will end up with a top 5 pick regardless but I really think it's better to not burn that first year of his ELC

Stuetzle likely makes the team and plays in the top 9.
Nick Paul likely never graces the top 6</div></div>
I would probably put Stuetzle in Formenton's spot and Formenton into Abramov's spot if he's on the team. I don't think of it as Nick Paul in the top 6, rather that those top two lines will have tougher deployment than the bottom two lines, with Tierney's line in particular getting a lot of d-zone starts.

With a flat cap, I don't think there is any trade value for him. Though he may not be worth it, they will likely still be able to afford him given the expiring deals of Saad, Cole, and Calvert. I would try and retain Bellemare as he won't command much of a raise, if at all. My best guess for Landeskog is a deal similar to that of Kreider and Gallagher. Add in the fact that COL will likely lose Toews or Graves to Seattle and there will be money for Makar regardless of whether they move Donskoi.

I don't believe it will take that much to outbid others for those two. Like the trade for Nashville anyway, but not sure MTL goes for the other trade

Entertaining team
I would love both of these trades as a Sens fan. I would absolutely love to have Subban simply for the fact his contract expires sooner than Zaitsev's, and maybe it's possible that Cirelli would be excited to play for DJ again.

Getting Cap Compliant
I would imagine that Fleury has Detroit on his 10 team no trade list, however I think this is an extremely smart deal for both teams. Red Wings pick up 2 picks for a goalie either equally as good or better than Greiss, and they have the cap space to retain 50% on Fleury's deal if they choose to ship him elsewhere for more assets.

Thats it
Coming from a Sens fan, I highly doubt that they are one of the 8-9 teams that Johnson said he would accept a trade to. Also not sure if a 1st round pick does it unless there's a handshake deal with Seattle to take him after the first year. Killorn to Dallas might work but don't think the return would be that high. I think it's more likely that Johnson and Coburn stick around Tampa and the Bolts have to trade someone they'd rather not, like Palat.
For the RFA contracts I think Cirelli gets a little more and Cernak gets a little less.

My take on the start of the season
I think it's likely that Zboril sticks at the start of the season as well. Was coming on strong last year and need to see if he can stick before potentially losing him on waivers. I think a bottom feeding team like Detroit/Ottawa would pick him up in a heartbeat
