Stone Trade

The Bruins can't afford to resign him anyways, so if Ottawa is looking for potentially two 1st if Stone resigns, it won't be with the Bruins.

I feel like the Bruins may have given up on Donato a bit too early. I hope he does well for you guys out in Minny.

Breaking Coyle for Donato 5th
I feel as though Coyle will end up on the L3 as the center over a Winger.

Do Bruins fans like these lines
Coyle isn't good enough as a winger to be a top line winger. He will most likely end up as the third line center. You could put either Heinen or Cehlarik on the L3 wing with Coyle C and bakes RW. Currently I would keep Heinen on L1, Pasta on L2 with Debrusk and Krejci and put Cehlarik on L3 with Coyle and Backes.

One more Duchene mock before the season
I have looked into a few Duchene Mock trades as well, i like what you did, but agree with the cap space problem. If we could package McQuaid in there too, you could make it happen.
My idea:
Spooner, Zboril, Mcquaid
Duchene ($1.5-2 mil retained)
So we would save $5,575,000 from trading Spooner/McQuaid (losing Zboril stinks but i think we have enough LD to lose him)
Add $4-4.5 mil for duchene... bruins aren't in terrible shape there.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>ON3M4N</b></div><div>It'd actually be cheaper to put Dobby through waivers and bury him if he clears. If he's in the AHl were only on the hook for like $175k for the season..
Forward lines are interesting, but if Spooner isn't playing center then you'll be a LW. Vatrano can play RW so may flip those two. DeBrusk is a guy that can push for sometime and being that Bjork can play RW he may slot in with Bergy/March and DeBrusk fills the PWF role on the Krejci line.</div></div>
I like what you said about Burying him. Thank you. I threw Spooner on RW though cause he generally plays that side (his Off wing) on the PP which is by far the where he plays best. My thought was try and play him where he's strongest? Debrusk i would love to see play a bit but i feel as though Bjork is more capable and ready to play a full schedule and compete and the NHL level. Heninen is ify for me but could be lethal on either of the top 2 lines.

Bruins by Moog 6.0.
I don't see Minn saying no. They are rumored to want to move Brodin for a # 1 pick so they don't potentially lose him in the Draft and because they don't have one.
I like the ideas tho, personally I hope we sign pasta to a 4 yr $4.5 mil to keep some cap space available. But thats me!!

Thanks for the welcome!! Still don't see him or them wanting to strap the team just so he makes a couple extra Mil a year. Everyone wants that cup baby!! but we will see what happens. Thanks again for the comment!

Only trade I feel may not be enough is for Duchene. May have to package another pick or prospect in there, but in my opinion worth getting him. Able to play wing and center. Could be the "Nathan Hortan" like player Krecji has needed for the past few seasons. Also, I know a lot of people are thinking 6 years $6 million ISH for Pasta. I looked at what we did with Marchand and modeled Pasta after that. After winning a cup we still didn't give Marchand a massive contract. I think Pasta is in it for the long haul and the Cup not money, so hopefully with a NMC he will be willing to stay for a bit less to get a BIG contract when his time comes.
First time doing one of these GM things on here so please feel free to let me know what others think!
