Pens 20222023
He made 3.2m this year and is an RFA so to qualify it needs to be 10% more than 3.2m. He is still a skilled player with good 2nd line potential i team desperate for scoring will take the chance on a guy like that when the price is low due to his production lately. Zucker and McGinn are both moved to open up space, as long as malkin letang and sid are in the fold you have to continue to go for it. Zucker has never really worked, plagued by injury and at that cap hit he needs to be moved. McGinn its the term to long a contract for a bottom 6 forward can replace for much less money. This team will once again make the playoffs in a tough metro division and should be a tough out for anyone.

Flames 20222023
As a flames fan i think Johnny wants to stay but i also think he is interested in seeing whats out there. I do agree with Treliving if he does decide to stay long term he could go down as one of if not the greatest flame ever. Monahan will be tough to move but i think given the right assest with him somone will roll the dice. Lucic will also be tough and due to the fact that he is loved in the room and is in the final year of his contract i think it may just be best to keep him this year let him walk next off season. Backlund is an option, but i dont like that he is the heart and soul of that team and is the longest standing flame currently. if they can keep th same core i think they can be in a very similar position next year.

Jets 2223
Copp is a solid 2-way player, the Jets didn't want to move him but it was the right move and now the 2nd rd pick they got just turned into a 1st with NYR making it to the conference final. Scheifele and copp are freinds thought that may help. Anywhere else Scheifele could go?? i believe his time in WPG is done.

Thanks for the feedback guys wasn’t to serious with this one was just messing around. I an curious on your thoughts on what they should do this off-season? I mean i like the group but losing in th first round or not making it at all is getting old and this group has proved they can’t get it done. A shakeup is clearly needed how would go about that? Let me know if you would like thanks.

McAvoy was my last cut on D, I hummed and hod at Suter and took him just for his experience really.

Yeah Kaprizov would likely be there, I was only really looking at NHL players.

There is the goalies my apologies. Makar was my last cut, went with Letang just due to his experience playing in high pressure games. Huberdeau is right there and you could make a strong case for him over Couture but i went with him due to his 200ft game. Stone was my last cut, and perhaps some hometown bias as i am a jets fan hence Scheifele, Stone is a more complete player and would suit that bottom six role much better. Valid points thanks for commenting.

I tend to agree with you about vanek, i just didn't think we would be able to lure some of the bigger free agents and need to be cautious with the term of those signings, as chucky is going to be in for a significant raise.
