what would the devils accept in your opinion?

Hanifin:
1st involved, probably 25 or the 24 with protections. Depending on valuations internally and the bidding on Hanifin, as well as retention and the potential for Hanifin to be a long term rental, secondary pieces may vary.

Bahl, Clarke, Stillman, Misyul, Vilen, 2nd, 3rd are pieces to consider

Approximate valuation of a 1st+3rd unretained, whatever that looks like.

Markstrom:
Starting offer would be a 2nd round pick.
Add a 2nd for each mill you retain.

1 mill retained: 1st
2 mill retained: 1st+2nd
3 mill retained: 1st+2nd+2nd
Or whatever equivalent value that looks like

Bourque is much more valuable than Tanev

Maybe on the Mangiapane trade, I'd hope for more but, I'd be fine if that was the return

I feel like I've commented on 10 different variations of this same Marky trade lol, I'll just say I'd rather the Flames keep him while Wolf develops behind him

All of those are so hilariously in favor or Calgary that any GM who hears these offers is calling the league office right after they hang-up on you to say an 11 year old stole the GM's phone line.

Basically none of the Markstrom asks on here seem to have any basis in reality.

Apparently worth more than every goalie ever traded.

Yeah I'm don't think he's super valuable either, I disagree with you saying he's worth a 2nd straight up, I think he's worth a 1st but, that's it

If Fitzy gave up our 25 1st+Vitek for Markstrom I’d be fine with that, but I personally wouldn’t make much of an offer at all on him unretained.

I am very wary on him due to his age personally.

50% retention for Vitek+1st+1st would be my offer

I think we had a similar conversation yesterday, I can't remember exactly what you said but, I remember saying I'd personally only move Markstrom with retention for an over payment

2 1st +Vanacek for Marky -50% makes sense to me

Not sure why you're wary of age, goalies usually age pretty well if they don't get injured

I think a big part of the divide on my end with a lot of flames fans comes from just vast differences in valuations of prospects.

I’ve generally stated that I value
Seamus Casey around a 1st+3rd
Holtz around 2 1sts

And would be more than happy to swap them in instead for any trade.

Maybe NJD front office views them differently, but with Holtz being described as a pillar piece, and when asked for in the meier trade, apparently only available 1 for 1, I don’t think I’m off base in those valuations

The numbers on goalies overall through their age 34-36 season combined aren’t all that great over the last 10-15 years. Really only fleury played at a high level, and then beyond that it was Mike Smith who was an average starter and then Ig Bobrovsky now looks good but idk if he’ll keep it going.

I'm saying a lot of goalies play for a long time Tim Thomas I think 38, Craig Anderson stuck around until 41, Luongo played a long time, Brodeur too, Ryan Miller stuck around, Hasek played pro I think until he was 45, etc. Not all elite but, they can play

And yes we do not have the same evaluations on prospects and it's not super close so I won't say what mine are lol

My thought process is always to just put in picks on here as a show of actual value and the prospects can be sorted out by front offices with their own internal valuations.

But it’s just incredibly annoying to see that every fanbase seems to want Holtz. Every fanbase seems to want Casey. Every fanbase seems to want Mercer. And yet they won’t value him.
